Nice steak breakfast. “The Rancher” breakfast was really good. The biscuits and gravy we’re tame, I personally like it with a few more spices. The biscuit was soft. Coffee was good.

A really cute family style dinner on a long haul drive. Very friendly staff and they clearly take pride in a lot of the home made items (especially things which are often pre-purchased, like salad dressing). My 5 year old son really appreciated the steak on the kids menu (he loves steak and often eats a few bites off an adults plate, but loved the option to have his own).

Every morning I’ve stopped here they have been very pleasant and the food has been delicious. Today, Sunday July 18th I stopped in at noon for lunch and the waitress was very short and rude. She seemed very overwhelmed and snapped at us when we took about 10 seconds thinking over where we wanted to sit. With her attitude and obvious irritation we decided to leave instead of troubling her any further. The way she treated us was observed and commented on by a couple customers as we walked out. I’m basically writing this to make sure the owner is aware that their staff was very unhappy and conveying that to the customers today.

Ordered a steak to be cooked rear. Got the first one it was cooked well done and burnt. Sent it back and got one that was rear but was cold in the middle. Also ordered a hamburger steak meal and a double cheeseburger, both was burnt and had absolutely no flavor. Wont ever go here again or suggest it

Worst breakfast ever! Scrambled egg was way over cooked, burnt hashbrowns! No effort in to making a simple dish. Utensils were dirty I used my own sanitation wipes to clean them!

The Sunset Inn is a typical small-town diner/café. Staff is super friendly, selection is roughly what you’d expect from a café, though they do have a few unique menu items which makes it worth stopping here. The seating area is kind of small, but probably serves their needs well.
