Recommended by someone and we have to thank the friend. It was amazing what a bagel and open sandwich can taste. First with the bagel pirates choice. Chose an Asiago bagel. Here is the filling sprouts, yes sprouts, hummus, cucumbers and tomatoes. And healthy amounts too. Simple melt in the mouth – never had a bagel taste like this. Other open sandwich was the avocado toast. Now everyone is serving avocado toasts these days but the toast was toasted to perfection, avocado fresh and the sunflower seeds were drenched in some
Sort of dressing which made this just disappear in a an instant. If you want a snack or a breakfast or a light meal and in the area NOA should be one of the options for you. Nearly forgot to mention great seating and service.

I remember when the cafe was under construction . I finally had a chance to visit and I am glad I did!
Very friendly service. I had the Upstream with an Asiago bagel with smoked salmon, pickled onion , avocado and chive cream cheese. Delicious !
The service really shined when I asked if they had chocolate croissants. I was offered a Nutella Croissant which is a croissant sliced with Nutella in the center. Strawberries are sliced and placed with it. Also delicious!
The medium roast drip coffee ☕ was really good!
Both my orders were brought to where I was sitting. The inside is nice with window and couch ️ seating.
Update: August 2025; The Cable Asiago Bagel Sandwich was delicious ! I am not a fan of blueberry muffins but the one I had was heated and served with a tasty butter . It washed down my coffee ☕ rather well!
I was told they are on their third year. Congratulations !
I am going to recommend this cafe!

Haven’t tried their coffee yet, BUT we stumbled in hungry and ended up having a very pleasant experience. My friend and I both ordered smoothies and they were AMAZING. You can tell their ingredients were fresh and their staff were so lovely and sweet. One of the owners, Ryan, greeted us and made sure we were taken care of. He was so friendly and can’t wait to check out their other coffee shop by the beach. Highly recommend the sun beam.

This review is about the coffee only: while the espresso itself was pretty balanced, the baristas need better training on how to steam microfoam (or put another way, better to train to Blue Bottle standards than to Starbucks…). Otherwise the people, space and food were great.

One of the best coffees I had while I was in US! Also, their passionfruit tea is amazing! It is such a cozy place!

I have only ordered delivery so far but they have the absolute best gluten free bagel breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Literally feels like chewy bread. 10/10
Edit: Have visited in person and it’s such a vibe! Love the outdoor seating!

This place was amazing. I stumbled upon NOA on a day trip to Portsmouth and was immediately impressed. I got one of the toasts and the vegan carrot cake. The meal was absolutely delicious. I sat outside, but the inside would have been just as enjoyable because it was so cozy, quaint and comfortable.

They have DAIRY-FREE MUFFINS! I stopped at 4 different spots looking for dairy-free muffins, this spot has them, & they are tasty!!
TO NOTE: The muffins weren’t labeled “dairy-free”, so if you’re curious if the ones that are out are, just ask.
FEEDBACK FOR THE OWNER: Dairy-free is a big selling point for the many people allergic to milk, it’s a great idea to let customers know – I would have walked out of it was busy and I had to wait to ask. Having them labeled gives a clear & quick answer.
Atmosphere is calm and welcoming.
I parked in lot just across the street (behind the buildings)
Kind employees. I’ll be back to try other items!

Cute newer spot that makes a great coffee and has some killer breakfast toasts. Friendly staff takes your order and then delivers food to your table. The salmon avocado toast was fabulous with pickled onions, fresh avocado, and crème fraiche on a sourdough slice, with an evoo drizzle. Perfection! My wife had the butter bean avocado toast which was also fresh, creamy and filling. If you’re looking for a quick, light breakfast where you can still sit down and enjoy a great coffee without enduring the wait at some of the larger spots, NOA Cafe is the place.

Cute cafe in the heart of Portsmouth. Plenty of seating in a bright room with snack on offer. Noa’s coffee is good, but not great by high-end cafe standards.
