Tried Saj Fresh tonight for the first time time and so glad we did! We placed an order 20 minutes before close and when my husband arrived they were clearly at the end of a big rush. Despite our late order and them being slammed, they were so kind and apologetic for the wait. We were happy to wait as we were the ones that ordered so close to their closing time. The food was incredible. The grilled beef and chicken were fantastic, excellent quality. The spicy hummus was delicious as was the zataar and cheese pizza. We loved everything we got and can’t wait to go back.

Owner’s reply to me is misleading; restaurants set their prices with the delivery services, and while they are usually slightly higher, Saj’s up-pricing is significantly higher than the average. It appears that the prices are 50-60% higher! Interestingly, choosing to pick up rather than deliver does not lower these inflated prices. As for the 1-hour delivery time, this was not addressed. If you are craving Mediterranean, go in person.
Saj used to be a good, quick, inexpensive meal with large portions. We ordered for delivery from the store rather than via DoorDash at 2:30 in the afternoon – what should be a quiet time for quick turnaround. We finally received the order an hour later, which is absurd.
Prices have gone up, as can be expected, and shrinkflation has hit hard. The $16.00 salad, which was ordered as an entree, was just slightly larger than a side salad! Total ripoff. The Saj Plates are smaller, as well, with 3 very small falafels and 2 tablespoons of sides each.
For a similar price and in a shorter delivery time, we could have ordered from Jerusalem and received larger portions.

the absolute best Mediterranean food in Denver!!! This Saj location truly has amazing hospitality, Najwa, the owner recommended us amazing dishes suitable for vegetarians – in fact, halfway through the meal, she was kind enough to have us try the special za’tr pizza (so good btw). Their falafels are flavorful and saffron rice is so yummy 🙂 I have to say though, the star of the show for me was the baba ghanoush!! Overall awesome experience; we love it and will definitely be coming back.

I can’t say enough for how good Saj is! Stopped in a few times before for a quick meal and always left satisfied but recently they shined with a big catering order for us. Food stayed hot and delicious and the service was even better—even helped load all the food into the car for me.
So whether you just want a quick healthy meal or catering for a big event you can’t beat Saj for this type of cuisine.

The hospitality the people here show is amazing. They are super friendly, and clearly want you to feel welcome and comfortable. The food is also amazing. The falafel and hummus are top notch, and are worth the trip. The Saj bread is perfect to enjoy the hummus and other sides.

First time here, so I was excited to try this place out. When we arrived, there were only 2 people ahead of us. There were 3 people working, an older lady, a man, and a young boy who was working the register. We ordered a chicken shawarma pita and a beef shawarma plate. It took 30 minutes to get food, delivered to our table…and the order was wrong. As we continued to wait, more people came in, making it more chaotic for the employees. From what we could see, the young boy running the cash register appeared to be the only one who knew what he was doing. As he floated back and forth from taking orders to preparing the food to delivering the food and also asking tables what they had ordered. 10 minutes later, our order was finally delivered. The chicken shawarma pita was fine, however the beef shawarma plate was meh. Meat was super dry and flavorless so I didn’t mind that the portion was small. Rice, hummus and pita was good though. Overall a lackluster meal. Walked out feeling bad for the kid and disappointed in the experience.

Saj features wraps and also has personal sized pizzas. They were out of pepperoni, so I went with the barbecue chicken.The pizza was okay, but a little sweet for my taste.
Service was very good – prompt and polite. The space is pretty basic but fine for a short stay. They do have password protected Wi-Fi available.
Parking was not a problem.
