My husband & I dined here yesterday with friends. It is in a great spot with lovely views of the lake and park. The service is friendly and swift & you are given tortilla chips and various dips on arrival. Also, a tasty tomato soup is complementary on arrival.
With our main meals, we had 3 free margaritas. This was my first ever margarita, and it was very refreshing.
For mains, i I had the 3 butter trout & was disappointed as I was expecting a thicker and moist fillet. Perhaps my expectations were wrong. My husband had the Fillete Mignon, which was sadly full of grizzle.
Our friends had Shrimp dishes and they said they were delicious.
We will return, but try something different.

We’ve eaten there twice & it was so good. My wife has had their garlic salmon twice. Best she’s ever had. I had breaded & fried frog legs last night. OMG, they were perfect in every way! Free margaritas or wine with meal.

I have been coming to this restaurant over the last 5 years, and I think it is the best seafood option in Chapala. Period. I always get the Veracruz Shrimp entree, and it never disappoints. Vegetables and shrimp are always done perfectly. And the salsa and chips are over the top delicious. The free margarita refills are an added bonus for sure! For the value, you just can’t beat it!

Boasting a fantastic location for enjoying the sunsets over Lake Chapala, Isla Cozumel is easily one of the best seafood restaurants in town.
The welcome is warm and exceedingly friendly, the atmosphere is “just so,” and the margaritas come with free refills.
Food is frankly excellent and prices are fair, given the quality and setting of this restaurant, as well as the fact that the Ritas keep on coming.
Top marks… Highly recommended.

What great attentive service by waiter Geraldo…gentle and professional delivering a perfect Red Snapper dish…hot and tasty. The restaurant, with many nice tables outside was in a perfect location to see the sun set over Lake Chapala. To top it off a small group of 5 mariachi played music and sang songs that created a very uplifting atmosphere! Will go visit again during my stay! Marguerita was perfect!

I’ve eaten here twice and the food and service have been great both times. The first time we asked to sort outside but it was full. We went inside and when a table opened later, they moved us outside.
Chips and fresh salsa were provided with our drinks. I had shrimp cerviche that was delicious with a nice balance of salty, sour and sweet. My husband had beef filet both times served with baked potato and vegetables.

We had a nice dinner here. Had to sit inside as there we no tables available outside. Drink service was good but food service slow. The Breaded Shrimp was very good as well as the Molcajete with Seafood.
