Wow, the food here is amazing!! We just found this place on a whim and decided to have dinner here. The service was a bit slow, but they seemed understaffed and were all running around like crazy, so I commend them for their hustle!!
I had the double bone pork chop…. it was fantastic. Tender, juicy, cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes and asparagus were the perfect match. Even the gravy was top notch!
My daughter that the Fettuccine Alfredo with the grilled chicken on the side. She wasn’t too big on the sweet style of the sauce (I thought it was pretty good) but she liked the chicken so much she got a 2nd side of it.
My wife had the chicken picatta and she seemed to really enjoy it. I had a bite and thought it was full of flavor, it was juicy and paired well with everything on the plate!
The price point was a bit higher than expected, as some of the menu prices had changed from the photos in the reviews, but that’s to be expected.

The views, ambiance and the service were great. We made a reservation for 6pm on a Saturday night. I dont believe it was necessary but they had full tables so its possible there may have been a slight wait. Our server was fairly new but she was knowledgeable and had excellent recommendations. Unfortunately her top recommendation was sold out so I was unable able to get the Pork Osso, which she hyped up very well. We ended up with the Ravioli and the Market Fish, which was a Halibut with squash and sweet potatoes. It was seasoned with sort of a curry spice. The flavors of the dishes are amazing, definitely things I never thought would go together. Highly recommend to try Danielle’s Scratch Kitchen.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile. We came in around 5 on Sunday and there was plenty of seating. It just so happened to be happy hour so we decided to try the Margarita flatbread. To me it was more a cheese “pizza” because there was more cheese and marinara than basil. I also ordered a espresso martini which was really good. For appetizers we also got the Five Cheese Mushroom and Romaine Wedge. The Five Cheese Mushroom was really good, the five cheeses were not overwhelming. The romaine wedge was really fresh however I think it needed more bacon. For entrees we got the Chicken Gorgonzola and the Chicken Marsala. The Chicken Gorgonzola was really good. The pasta and cheese were well balanced so I didn’t get an overwhelming gorgonzola flavor. The Chicken Marsala was also also very good because the sauce was not too creamy. There are two pieces of chicken so I would have preferred if there was more mushrooms. Finally for dessert we got the Cheesecake which was the Limoncello Cheesecake for the day. Overall everything was very good and we would definitely come back next time.

Update 08/2025: The pork Osso Buco was very good, I would definitely get it again. That sauce is unforgettably good. We also ordered the Wild Salmon was a bit in the dry side, so the fish was pan-fried, the potatoes was also baked/fried as well as the colorful cauliflower. So everything was on the dry side. Maybe if they added broccolini or something like asparagus it may have been better. Both desserts the cheesecake and creme brulee was very good. Although we ordered the New York cheesecake, it turned out to be a banana cheesecake. Although the texture is dryer like the New York cheesecake, It wasn’t quite the New York style texture. Overall I would definitely still come back for either the Osso Buco or to try something new.

Such a cozy atmosphere! Decorated for the winter! The homemade pasta was great! I liked that over the recommended jam burger. I think the burger needed more flavor, it could use a spicy/sweet jam component. The fries were great, and ranch tasted homemade, it was delicious!

Starters: fried chicken, wasn’t a fan of, nothing special about it, plain tasting. The Baked Brie cheese was good & I really liked the sweet & spicy peach jam.

On August 27, my dad and I came in for a birthday dinner. Our server was very kind at the beginning, but unfortunately we did not feel taken care of throughout the evening. After he took our order, he never returned to check on us, and we had to flag down another server for assistance.

The food was great but service can also make a meal. I share this feedback not to diminish the servers abilities—but rather to emphasize how important consistent service is, especially for first-time guests. For us, it turned what could have been a very memorable birthday celebration into a disappointing experience, and it leaves us unsure if we would make the trip from Denver to Castle Pines again.

Wonderful gluten sensitive menu with kitchen offering a special gf flour coating option to accommodate more menu item customization. Our server was wonderful and helped with menu descriptions and customization options and also had extensive knowledge of off-menu offerings such as mocktail options. Service was efficient but not disruptive. Items once finished were quickly removed, and beverages replenished at a nice appreciated pace. The ginger ale strawberry spritzer was delicious. Fruity mocktail was refreshing and filled with slices of various fruit, so it looked pretty, as well as tasted amazing. Bacon gruyere burger was perfectly juicy and medium. Southwest burger was wrapped in lettuce leaf as an alternative to bun. I loved that the pico de gallo and other fally-aparty items were tucked under the cheese and then melted over it to keep them on the burger more easily. Very wise chef there. The heat was just enough with the Chipotle mayo and the jalapeño cream cheese to satisfy my 70+ mother on her birthday trip. Salmon on salad was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, flaky and divine. We felt no rush to leave, and the staff remained attentive after the check was signed and returned. Have already made plans to return to try more, as everything was delicious and well made, beautiful in its presentation and creatively crafted. Outdoor patio remained busy and stayed shady in spots even on a hot summer day, dogs were welcome on the patio.

The atmosphere is very nice, the food mostly flavorful but the portion size was small for the money, the service was definitely lacking which made the overall experience a real disappointment. We started with the fried calamari that was unfortunately a bit overcooked but the accompanying sauces flavorful. The southern fried chicken dish was a very thin cutlet that sadly left me still hungry. My husband’s bacon jam burger was also a bit overcooked but he reports it was still tasty. The shrimp scampi was dry and very light on pasta also leaving our adult son hungry. We dined in on a Sunday around 1p the restaurant was nearly empty but our server was still not very attentive he seemed imposed upon to bring us more water or clear the dirty dishes from the appetizer, kudos to another waiter who happened by, noticed the dirty dishes, gathered them up apologetically and was the only genuine smile we received during our visit.

We had one of the most amazing dining experiences here and can’t wait to come back!!! First, we sat on the patio which had a beautiful ambiance. We were greeted promptly by our server, Danielle, who was phenomenal the whole time. She was incredibly attentive and made good conversation throughout the meal.

My husband got a margarita to drink and said it was tasty, try it!

All the food was fresh and delicious the shrimp scampi was a good portion size and the noodles were buttery and excellent. The village pasta is a good choice too, I liked how it had sausage and a meatball!

Amazing little gem near Castle Rock! Got the Mussels which was so good. The Mussels were green because they came from New Zealand! Loved that it came with baguette slices. I got the Southern Fried chicken which was so flavorful. Loved the green beans with it. My husband got the Apple and Gorgonzola burger that he enjoyed. Loved getting mimosas. We were so full from lunch we didn’t get to try dessert but rest assured we will be back! Servers were so nice and I loved the architectural and interior designs!

I am giving this place three stars primarily because of the excellent customer service. However, I was disappointed with the wild mushroom and spinach pasta. The noodles tasted strongly of vinegar, which was not to my liking. The other two people at my table also found it unpleasant. When I mentioned my dissatisfaction, the hostess promptly offered to accommodate me by providing a different dish. I opted for the chicken marsala, which was much more enjoyable.

Unfortunately, our server was quite slow in attending to our needs. It took him at least 10 minutes to return after we requested to split the check.

To make matters worse, both my husband and I experienced stomachaches shortly after starting our meals. The discomfort persisted even on our drive home, making it difficult for us to walk. Hours later, we are still in pain.

Considering the small portions, high prices, and mediocre quality of the food, I would not recommend this place for those seeking a satisfying and reasonably priced dining experience.
