My son goes to school at MSU and raves about this place! So we went! Before I mention the food let me say it’s like if I owed it! Being a Saints fan way back starting in the bag days, it was awesome to see all the memorabilia! An Alvin Kamara bobblehead? Who Dat! Speaking of memorabilia, so many pictures of the Ramones and other famous musicians and celebrities! Uncle Floyd! I also spotted a KISS photo with Ace Frehley R.I.P. I could have stayed in there all day looking except they are jammed with customers getting the best bagel sandwich I ever had! It also might have been the biggest I’ve ever had!

really good bagels at a really good price, got a blazin mozz bagel with lox cream cheese, avocado, and red onion for under ten dollars and it was the best bagel I’ve ever had. from out of town and asked the employees how they would get to New York from where they were at and everyone was helpful, someone even called someone else for better instruction. very friendly and very good food

Chef’s KISS! My colleague took me here while I was in New Jersey for work. He said I HAD TO try a bagel here before I left and it was amazing. Hands down MUST TRY while you’re in the area.
10/10 – my colleague mentioned he’s been coming to this location since a kid. I definitely feel the family atmosphere & the food is made with love.
He told me this “isn’t just any regular egg & cheese bagel”. I couldn’t agree more. I definitely would come back next time I’m in Jersey.

Food here is great, however, I order this specific sandwich and they just add cheese without asking me. I’m allergic and whenever I open the bag with my sandwich I can’t even eat it. Kind of annoying.

First time @ Plaza Bagel & Deli. Family and I loved their bagel selections. We tried their Oreo Bagel at first I was skeptical, however, I will say it was not sweet, and combined with olive cream cheese you get the sweet savory aspect.

I’ve been coming here for years and never had an issue until today. They recently hired a new guy who absolutely doesn’t know the first thing when it comes to sanitary conditions. I saw this same person help 3 people and not once change his gloves. From handling food to money, he never bother to change his gloves. His gloves are wet from the food and for whatever reason he’s oblivious to it. The rest of the help are awesome. This guy needs more training – big guy, glasses and hat.

Very good bagel shop . The bagels are fresh and not too hard on the outside . They are just right and chewy inside. They also have bialys here. You might have to call ahead to see if they have some though. I used to go to a bagel shop in Bloomfield but they fell off , so I take the little trek out here . Its worth it . The service is very good as well .

Plaza Bagel is one of those places one would easily pass by and never know it existed, unless you either look on a map, or accidentally stumbled upon it when driving or walking by. It’s neatly tucked in back of a block long business strip, with no street side entrance, only a back parking lot one. The food, especially the bagels and bagel sandwiches are particularly good; the coffee quite satisfactory. The service is very friendly as well. I would like however, for them to be a little more more open with their listed prices, as some items – specialty bagels for one, to have them posted
