I am a cook and I have high standards I also have medical certificates ,and food handlers license so I understand many issues concerning food safety. I asked if the Philly steak on the menu was good when I got to the restaurant they said it was. I couldn’t more disagree affiliation come on a Philly bun that’s been toasted, with sauteed onion and bell pepper and Philly cheese. I’m allergic to cheese so I asked them to hold the cheese the Philly sandwich that I received had a cold regular hamburger bun that had not been toasted some meat that was overcooked bell pepper and onion that was not sauteed the fries were still hard in the center and not well cooked and when I say it was the worst experience I’ve had in years I am not joking. The young girls that was working there were sticking their hand in the milkshake machine trying to unfreeze it because nothing was coming out so they began pouring milk inside of it sticking their hands and object in the shake machine I never seen them even wash their hands not to mention the shake machine was probably froze up from the lack of care which was needed a note to others a shake machine is supposed to be washed and cleaned taken apart and cleaned and then put back together at a certain amount of time in a certain amount of days if not it freezes up which is what had happened the young girls that was working there were laughing joking and didn’t seem experienced enough or critique enough to handle small kitchen issues let alone larger ones. I would not recommend to anyone.

Wow. My burger was so great! Came here to experience the solar eclipse and I guess my family wasn’t the only one with the idea. This place was so busy! There was only one, wonderful lady working. She made the food so fast and it was amazing. So thankful for her!

They didn’t have any of the food that we wanted to order I ended up ordering a simple grilled cheese and fries and didn’t even get the fries which I wasn’t even told they were out of they made a frito pie with lays potato chips and it wasn’t even that good. Even the ice cream machine was out of order which i soon realized was because she didn’t know how to run it. The soda machine didn’t work until my boyfriend turned it on and there was no ice. The person that was there was brand new 1st day in there and not a single manager or any other person to show her how to ring up any of the food items she had to make a phone call SEVERAL times to try to get help which ended up with her saying “that didn’t help at all” as soon as she hung up. Gone now. The lady in charge – I assume – as she was older and the only one there- she was rude and when I tried to be friendly I was met with disdain. And as I am pulling out- I see her ignoring a young girl standing at the window. Shame. Used to be a highlight of a stop.

Came to The Dairy Shack for the solar eclipse. Let me tell you, this place was so great! The food, amazing. Service, amazing. There was only one lady working and she was soooo busy with us out-of-towners but the food was still fast and delicious!

Stopped in for some ice cream and wasn’t disappointed. Brownie sundae for the win!(She called it something else but I can’t remember what) It was delicious! I’m concerned about the ceiling tho. It’s warped and falling down. Definitely needs work soon. Doesn’t look safe in the dining area or the kitchen.

Last I had a burger from here it was several years ago. Had some of the best burgers in NE AR. That is no longer the case. It’s not a bad burger but it’s average at best. Far from what it was. The patty on my burger didn’t taste just cooked. More like they cooked it earlier and reheated. Again a far cry from before and no longer a place I looked forward to when I would pass thru.

When you’re fishing in nearby Lake Hogue, there aren’t too many places nearby to grab a bite to eat. We left for a bathroom break and found this little spot next to a gas station. The food was actually pretty good and reasonably priced as well. I had a catfish plate, my friend had a BBQ plate, and my son had a hot dog. I would definitely stop back by if I was in the area and hungry.

It took 50 minutes to get a chef salad and a couple of milk shakes. If you weren’t a local then you weren’t important to these people. I even asked them to let me have the shakes and they could keep my salad. Pitiful service

Come threw here a few times gravein and I have to stop every time because it’s awesome!! The kidos that work here are sweet and friendly! Brings back memories of when I was a kiddo working at a dairy shack!!
