River Restaurant – en restaurang i Göteborg där smak, stil och service förenas vid kajkanten Här möts internationella kök med inriktning på havet och säsongens råvaror, tillagade med en känsla för detaljer. Under lunch serverar vi smakrika rätter som passar både för affärsmöten och en avkopplande paus vid vattnet. Den ljusa lokalen och läget vid älven ger en välkomnande miljö som gör att gäster gärna stannar längre. I vår bar väntar cocktails, vin och öl som kompletterar maten och skapar en helhetsupplevelse. När vintern kommer dukar vi upp ett klassiskt julbord med moderna inslag för både små och stora sällskap. För större arrangemang fungerar vi även som eventlokal. Vi ser fram emot att välkomna dig till River Restaurant.

An unpleasant dining experience for sure. The children were so excited to be invited to what should have been “A Fine Dining” experience and were dressed for the occasion. Twin six year olds attending a birthday dinner. However the hamburger / cheeseburger they were served, I would neither eat, nor serve to my dog. When I privately approached The Owner with my concern his response was: “this is what we serve all Swedish children, this is what they eat. We cannot be making them handmade juicy burgers as it takes too long and they don’t want to wait”. Absolutely appalling and utterly untrue, MAX BURGERS a Swedish fast food chain is of far superior quality than the dry, leathery, hockey puck they passed off as edible. Utterly disgusting and worse to think The Owner obviously classifies children as “second class” guests unworthy of proper nutritious meals. Will never go there again knowing this is the opinion of The Owner. Needless to say, they didn’t touch them, and ate only the fries.

I have been there during lunch time so the price was ok (once in a while). They have Fresh fish dishes, meat & vegetarian dishes every day. Fresh bread & salad us include in the lunch and the special point is that They have desert buffet.
