Literally so good. Since I’m Korean and often frequent Korean restaurants in Fort Lee/Palisades Park, I didn’t have much expectation. I ordered omurice, spicy pork and tangsooyuk and was sosososo pleasantly surprised. They all taste so fresh, clean, home-y, and super delicious and honestly they reminded me of my mom’s cooking. Even their kimchi tasted really good and like authentic geotjuri. I think they only have one person at the counter so ordering can be somewhat slow (I saw at least two customers walk in and out without being able to order food because the counter employee was busy in the kitchen). Can’t wait to be back again and definitely recommend!

What an amazing combination of foods. Japagetti was delicious. The rice cake carbonara is something I’ve never even thought to put together, but it came out phenomenal. The food was seasoned very well and had a good amount of meat for the price.

The reason my review is so low is that I got served free water that tasted like it was full of bacteria. To be honest I have never had water that made me wanna throw up but this got me very close to it.
Smelling like garbage that was left in the sun.
These guys must have a serious plumbing or septic issue.
Now I feel like I’m gonna get sick because of it.
The food was good, not amazing but it concerns me that If they serve this kind of water if they cook with it too.
I’m definitely not going back here.
I had high hopes for this place judging from the reviews.
Well I guess not all places with good reviews hold up to expectation.

Got the chicken katsu. Breading was nice and crispy. Sauce was good. Chicken itself was bland. Not sure why place called “kimchi bistro” doesn’t give you a small side of kimchi.

This place was so good I ate here 2 days in a ROW! The first night my boyfriend and I dined in and I was floored. For one the portions are huge! We started with the Korean bbq dumplings which were good, but the real star was the spicy pork dish! For someone who avidly eats and cooks Korean food- I was thoroughly impressed! The pork was so tender, the sauce was just the right amount of spicy and savory, and the side of rice was cooked to perfection! I also LOVED their sesame salad dressing that they serve with the side cabbage salad. The next night we ordered in and I got the Chicken Katsu with Rose sauce and Fish Cake Soup- holy MOLY was I impressed!! The portion size of takeout was just as big as dining in and I had plenty of leftovers for the next day! The chicken was perfectly coated and SO CRISPY. Dare I say.. the best chicken katsu I have EVER had!! I decided to try rose sauce instead of the traditional curry and it did not disappoint!! It was so cheesy, savory, and perfectly spicy! Paired beautifully with the crispy chicken. The fish cake soup was also incredible! The amount of fish cakes they give you is incredible and the broth was beautifully sweet from the fish cakes and flavorful. Compliments to the owners and chefs! I will ABSOLUTELY be returning
