After years of driving past this spot while heading north, I finally had the chance to stop for a meal. We were seated promptly, and the service was quick—menus and drinks arrived in no time. My wife and I shared the fish, which was a perfect 10/10. The portion was massive, and the tartar sauce was incredible. What truly elevated the visit was the entertainment: The Matt Braxton Band completely blew us away. It felt like watching the Allman Brothers play right in our living room. We will absolutely be making this our new go-to spot when traveling north.

We enoyed this casual spot with our family of four. My shrimp basket was delicious and the boys ‘ pizzas were gobbled up quickly. The pool tables provided ample entertainment. Our waitress was also very attentive.

My wife and I were finally able to stop by Tinker’s Junction on Wednesday for an early afternoon lunch. Our server Paige gave us the rundown on all the fun they have in their weekly lineup. The daily food specials, and the activities that allow customers to engage and enjoy. Karaoke, Trivia, live bands, indoor corn hole, and other special events are bound to create a great time out with friends and family. They even host larger gatherings for group get-togethers. We will definitely be back for some of that as our schedule allows since we come from the Mio area.
Wednesday being 15% off pizza day, we ordered a Freddie’s Special with a special request for Carmen who was manning the kitchen. Carmen was happy to grill the veggies to soften them a little before putting them on the pizza for baking.
Outstanding job Carmen. It was delicious!
If you’ve not been there and you are looking for a new or different experience and don’t mind havin some fun you should definitely find some time to try Tinker’s. We are sure glad we did.

Grab a beer or two followed by 2 pizza and de-assemble nacho (called bark?).
So server was very attentive and both pizza were great. I’d order them again.
As for the nacho appetizers, probably not. Light on chips and cheese was a harder cheese and did not melt well. Was hoping for soft nacho cheese. I will go back and did enjoy overall.

The food was just “ok”. My walleye had very little flavor and the steamed broccoli was barely cooked…borderline raw. Disappointed.
