Tried Indian food properly for the first time and it was such a pleasant surprise. Everything was so flavorful and delicious.
We ordered chicken tikka masala, butter naan, garlic naan, noodles, and Manchurian. The chicken tikka masala with the warm naan was especially amazing.

Just had an incredible meal at Punjabi Kitchen and I’m already planning my next visit back!
The atmosphere is really warm and inviting. And the food? Seriously delicious. I got the Tandoori Chicken, the Hakka Noodles, and their Punjabi Kitchen Special Drink. Honestly, those Hakka Noodles were hands down, the best I’ve tasted in all of Auckland. Everything tasted fresh and authentic.
A few other things I really appreciated: the restaurant is budget-friendly, the service was great, and the staff were genuinely friendly and polite. the washroom was clean! plenty of parking available
If you’re in the area and craving some top-notch, hearty Indian cuisine, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

The staff were so warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in.
We ordered the Paneer Malai Methi and absolutely loved it the paneer was incredibly soft and the curry was rich, flavourful, and perfectly spiced.
Their garlic naan deserves a special mention crispy, thin, and unlike any naan I’ve had before. So light yet full of flavour.
We also tried the Virgin Mojito, which was very refreshing with a generous amount of mint. Loved the fresh, balanced taste

What an absolute to be here to have Indian food. In its most authentic form. Everything we had so tasteful and so satisfying. You can’t miss Indian food after having all the dishes they serve here. Definitely go for Veg Chowmein and Chicken minced naan. Chef’s kiss for both of them. We also had Sabji miloni, which was an absolute best. And then coming to the ambiance – Very neat & has a warm inviting vibe. The owners are also the ones who would serve you and the hospitality they give seems like they have been professionally trained but also makes you feel like you’re family. Once you meet Manisha & Sunil, you would experience what I’m talking about. We went with another couple (who already is a regular there) for dinner and it was so comforting to have Indian food on a foreign land. I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat!

Visited Punjabi Kitchen for dinner and I’m genuinely so impressed! The food quality was on another level – every dish ordered was so fresh. We tried the Paneer Kadai, Soya Masala, Noodles, and Lachha Paratha, and honestly, it all felt just like comforting, home-cooked food.

We recently celebrated our daughter’s first birthday at Punjabi Kitchen, Henderson, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. From the food and ambience to the hospitality, everything was just perfect. We had the entire venue booked for ourselves, which made the celebration even more special.
We had booked an external decoration team, and the staff were very accommodating in allowing them early access to the venue to set everything up. This made the decorations seamless and added a lovely touch to the celebration.
For starters, we enjoyed Kali Mirchi Kebabs and Garlic Chicken, along with Paneer Tikka and Veg Manchurian for our vegetarian guests. The buffet was kept well stocked throughout the event, with fresh starters brought out promptly whenever a dish was running low.
The main course included Fenugreek Chicken and Chicken Do Pyaza, as well as Kadai Paneer and Dal Makhni. Every dish was flavourful and thoroughly enjoyed by our guests.
The team also allowed us to play our own music at a controlled volume, which was perfect for everyone to enjoy and even dance. We’ve been visiting Punjabi Kitchen for quite some time now, and their service has always been consistently excellent.
