I was visiting family in Charlotte North Carolina. My friend wholeness down there recommend this place. It definitely didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing,as you can see the decor was beautiful. There was a line to take pictures in this lovely area. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.

I was introduced to this place by my sister, who had said it was a place she frequents. We went as a family, and decided it would be a good idea to order the flight to kick off a good evening of laughter and good food. I think it was called “A Flight to Mexico.”
After we got the libations flowing, we needed some food to take it up a notch. Thankfully, a fresh plate of nachos were provided to us upon arrival. We toasted, ate nachos, and enjoyed each other’s company until the food arrived.
Since there was only a few of us, we went with the Sampler Tijuana. That way, we could enjoy an array of food items all at once. It was just enough for us 3, and plenty left over to take home after.
The food came out within a fair wait time. It was fresh and hot, and the french fries (of all things) were amazingly delicious!! Our waitress, which I forget her name, was very pleasant, and had a great sense of humor. Hopefully the tip we left her she considers to be hefty 🙂
I’d recommend this place to others, and I’ll likely be back soon for a second round! Cheers <3

My husband and I come here when we’re in town. We’ve been for lunch and dinner. Every time we come the food is excellent and service has been good. We’ve on a weekend when they are very busy and we’ve had a little wait time for our food but we weren’t in a hurry. It’s always clean. The atmosphere is bright and light.
We usually get the street style tacos because they are excellent and I’m gluten free. Recently we had the quesabirria and it was delicious. We are never disappointed when we come and we’ve been 5-6 times.

Nice restaurant, service was great. Brisket Taco meat was delicious but the toppings made it too wet. Shell became soggy. Recommend they put salsa on the side. Bacon refried beans sounded great but did not like.

I recently visited Tequilas and Tacos for the second time and I have mixed feelings about the experience. The drinks were fantastic, and I appreciated the quality. However, my meal was bland and flavorless I ordered garlic butter shrimp with rice and beans. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest letdown. Our server, Sandra, (if thats even her name) was rude and obnoxious, which really impacted the overall experience. I simply asked her if I could get a menu to order another entree and she assumed I wanted a refund and informed me her manager was going to make her pay for the meal I didn’t eat and if I don’t like the food she thought it best for me not to come back…when addressed about her attitude she then said she would “talk to her mother about teaching her manners” I truly hope the management addresses this issue moving forward because I’m sure I’m not the first person Sandra has treated this way.

Went here with my wife and a good friend that was in town for the weekend.
Absolutely outstanding experience. Khristian, despite being busy behind the bar, took excellent care of us at our table. He was super friendly and attentive. On top of the awesome service the food was great.
When we go back we’ll be asking for Khristian! Five stars all around.

This place is going to POISON their customers and THEY DO NOT CARE. Ceviche is a dish where typically the seafood is cooked by the acids in the dish, but this did not apply to the shrimp they served. They gave my daughter the dish and the shrimp were still white and gray, not even slightly cooked. And to top it off, the attitude of the manager/server was terrible. Manager didn’t even come to our table to address the issue. They said they would take it off our bill but we would have to pay next time. She didn’t eat any of the dish at all and if she did, she would’ve gotten food poisoning. And to top it off, we waited for an hour for our food and the last dish, which was the raw dish, came about 15 minutes after everyone else was served. Place had like two other tables and still waited this long. Just ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE as far as service is concerned.
