Tasty steamboat dinner. The soup was flavourful and the meat fresh and nicely marinated.
Only issue was we asked the staff if they could help boil that roll of dry noodles a little to soften it so we can put it all in our soup and they said no. We ended up having to crumble the entire thing.

When we arrived, two large tables were available. However, a staff member told us they were for eight people and asked us to wait 30 minutes for a smaller table. Despite this, after we were seated for a while, we observed another staff member immediately accommodate a couple at one of the same large tables.
We ordered a couple’s set for RM88 and upgraded to the white tomyam soup for an extra RM12. Unfortunately, the soup was disappointing; it was spicy but lacked the sweet and savory flavor we expected. The marinated pork was also too salty.
While the three types of dipping sauces were a highlight, the overall food quality was average, and we felt it wasn’t a good value for the price.

Good food and service. The grill is not sticky, and the heat is just perfect as it won’t burn the meat easily. The soup is light, won’t make you bloated. It is also unlimited and always refillable. Add on meat is single price and reasonable. The drink large portion is really large and can shared.
The table and utensils are clean. The only downside is no individual exhaust at table. Will return if happen to be in Cameron Highlands.

Indeed very nice charcoal mookata, ingredients were nice, meat options were nice and very well flavoured.
We’ve selected the Mookata set for 2-3 person which cost RM121 in total with 2 big glass of herbal drink.
Ingredients were good, I love their Char Siu meat which is sweet. The soup were well flavoured enough and worthy to try indeed. I would recommend you to add on noodle to ensure a full meal but nevertheless their existing portion is good enough for two.
However I would propose to put on a piece of oil paper to cover the grill to prevent the burnt carbon sticking on the grill which needs troublesome cleaning or replacement, just cover the center grill with the bleached oil paper, grill your favourite food on top then that would be good enough.

Great food and superb service! Had the couple set together with about 4 large cans of beer. More than enough for 2. Would like to compliment a Chinese male staff who was super attentive, checking on our soup level frequently and even adjusted the standing sign at the entrance to help filter out the evening sun’s glare. Will be back again if we were to visit Cameron Highland again!
