A little disappointed. Beef brisket enchiladas: Beef was tough, cheese kind of dried out. Rice was also dry and hard. Charro beans were OK. Dirt on the benches . Wait staff could be more welcoming and attentive.

Really great atmosphere and the food was pretty dang good. I got the shredded chicken burrito and it was absolutely LOADED with chicken. The service was fast, and the place was pretty quiet. Our servers were really wonderful and the decorations were really cool !

Many times we have been to this restaurant and most of the time. The food has been pretty good. This time when we went in we asked for the dish called fideo local
But the food tastes like watered down. Bean soup with spaghetti noodles in it and a teaspoon of hamburger meat. I’ve had it many times there before. And never had this problem. But I don’t know if they changed cooks or what but the recipe definitely had changed. I will leave this review and hopefully the management will see it and check the food before they go out.. Santa Rita cafe has great Tex Mex. I always have the cheese enchiladas and they are consistently good. I recommend going for lunch or Happy Hour. Enjoy the music they play too.

I’ve been to Santa Rita several times over the years, and it’s always a great experience. Most recently, I stopped in for lunch while my mom was in surgery — I needed a comfortable place to work for a bit. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure I had enough space for my laptop and meal. They checked in just the right amount — attentive but respectful, knowing I was working. The food was delicious as always, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back anytime I’m in the area.

The margaritas are the best. I’ve come plenty of times with coworkers after a long shift and it is great food/service/drinks every time. Reasonably priced too for being in downtown.

It has been a while since I dined at Santa Rita Cantina and again had another great experience. It has a great Mexican atmosphere and different dining areas from bar, indoor and patio setting. I ordered the Santa Rita Pescado where was described exactly what the menu stated as a wild caught filet of grilled Gulf Drum with avocado and pico de gallo laid on a bed of grilled vegetables with a side of ranchero sauce. it was really good with nice flavor, fulfilling and healthy to eat.
There was plenty of parking and felt very relaxing from the nice staff.

First time here and we loved it, I ordered fish tacos everything was really fresh and great flavor premium margarita was good really good our server very attentive, nice decorations and really small bar but nice, restaurant looks very clean, overall great experience, don’t let the bad reviews from unhappy people to keep you away. My father in law went here when my husband and I were in the hospital across the street. I finally went there today. Very comfortable and fun environment. Staff was great, food was awesome and the to go margaritas were delicious.
