I recently visited Habibi Mediterranean Grill in Santee and was genuinely impressed! They’re under new management and you can absolutely tell — the service was welcoming, attentive, and the overall vibe felt fresh and inviting.
The food was AMAZING. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. The meats were juicy and flavorful, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the portions were generous. You can really taste the quality in every bite.
It’s so nice to see a local spot elevate like this. If you haven’t been in a while, definitely give them another try. The new management is doing a fantastic job, and I’ll definitely be back!

Finally a Mediterranean restaurant in Santee ! Was recommended this spot by a friend so I came with my buddies so we can try a little bit of everything. Their homemade hummus with beef shawarma on top was a great starter. Their kufta was delicious we each had one. We got the kuzi with two different kinds of rice. The meat on that was so tender. We got the mixed grill plate which comes with rice and 4 different kinds of meat so we got a variety. Beef kabob, beef tikka, chicken kabob, and chicken tikka. Last item we shared was the gyro wrap cut into pieces and ask for their Habibi sauce because it was so good ! Restaurant was clean and staff was kind ! Definitely coming back.

I was looking for something new to try in the Santee area and stumbled upon this gem — and I’m so glad I did. The food is incredibly fresh and tastes truly authentic Middle Eastern. Special shout-out to the baba ghanoush — hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. So flavorful and perfectly smoky!
The woman working there was also incredibly sweet, and the service was warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly. Highly recommend!

Thank you!! My family enjoyed the food: adults, kids, even my toddler! Portion size was more than enough. The shawarma was flavorful and kabob was juicy. We tried most of the menu, everything was delicious. Place is shiny clean. Prices are great compared to other Mediterranean restaurants. Highly recommend!!!

Best kept secret in Santee! Today for lunch we had bowls. More food than we could eat. Great flavors, very helpful and friendly Staff that assisted us with our first time visit. Meat is well flavored, portion was large and a great value for the affordable cost. You have to try this restaurant. Took home our to go boxes and picked up an extra kabob and Baklava to go. Dinner is taken care of for tonight and I cant wait to finish it up. Simply the best.

The Chicken Tikka (chicken grilled on a skewer) was my favorite. The falafel plate came with 6 large falafel. The falafel was flavorful. The hummus was another favorite with the pita bread. The gyro bowl was served with a large portion of meat too. I recommend Habibi Mediterranean Grill if you are looking for a change from the similar chain restaurant in town.

The Beck Family Zoo
We just decided to come here instead of our usual, and we’re so happy we did. Cute place, super clean, and food was cooked right in front of you. Lots of authentic food Choices with portions that were sized well enough that I boxed my leftovers for lunch. After we treated ourselves to the baklava which was just the right amount of sweet to nuts. I highly recommend the gyros plate and a side of baba ghanoush and plan on tomorrow’s lunch. Really good food, w/great service and the mural wall added a fun detail. Hope to stop by soon!

One of my coworkers went here for lunch last week so my wife and I decided to try it. We drove out to Santee from skyline, and let me tell you … It was worth every minute. I had the gyro wrap, and the gyro was the best tasting gyro Ive ever had. Portion was perfect and the fries were crisp and tasty. Wife has the chicken shawarma wrap and said it was pretty good. Cant wait to go back and try something else.

Went here during Thanksgiving since I didn’t want to cook. Plenty of parking and some seating inside if you wanted to dine in. Got mine today. Ordered the Chicken Tikka Bowl and Beef Tikka plate. Both good but the chicken was a bit better. A bit on the pricier side though. A good new option in the neighborhood.
