Got a few pad Thais for takeout. My kids loved the chicken pad Thai. Wife and I got tofu and pork belly. The noodles were great, and flavorful. However, the pork belly was hard, dry and chewy. Not what I was expecting and for the price they charge I wanted great pork belly. Chicken pad Thai 9/10 (-1 pt for no lime. For the price they charge pls give us limes ) pork belly pad Thai 6/10. Tofu was fine. It’s fine.

Felt like I ordered a plate of carrots and peas with a side of Fried Rice. That’s how much there was in both rice orders. No real authentic Thai seasoning. Food was bland.

We went for lunch. They have a nice lunch menu but I went for the duck ramen special. It was so good! They know how to cook duck. And they were very accommodating of my mother in law’s picky palate. Great experience for a special occasion

This place is to Thai food what Olive Garden is to Italian food, and that’s being generous.

We ordered the pad Thai and the massaman curry, neither of which included protein. The pad thai as is is literally just noodles. We paid $6 to add tofu, and if you want to add vegetables, it is a $1.50 charge *per vegetable*, like you’re ordering a pizza. Both entrees ended up being $21. Pricy for Thai, but I don’t mind as long as it’s good. Also, the thai iced tea was $8 and nothing out of the ordinary.

The food came and did not look impressive. Everything was pale and not garnished, but I wanted to give it a fair chance. Both the curry and the pad thai were extremely bland, which isn’t something I’ve ever said about Thai before. The tofu was barely cooked and flavorless. At the very least, it could have been pan fried to give it a bit of texture. It tasted like it was straight from the package. The lack of flavor and seasoning meant that the potatoes and tofu in the curry, which are amazing flavor sponges, were just plain and sad. I had to request salt just to make it edible. Also, someone please tell me what parsley is doing in pad Thai? Yes, you read that right: not cilantro, Italian parsley. We stopped here on a very long road trip and were famished, so we did eat the food, but a Subway sandwich would have been preferable and more flavorful.

This entire meal tasted like whoever cooked it went home afterward and made a macaroni and mayonnaise salad for potluck. If it had been cheap, maybe I’d be more forgiving, but the price/quality balance is so poor that it’s offensive.

Anyway, two stars because the food was technically edible and the service was great.

I’m having a hard time reconciling the hundreds of positive reviews with our experience, and I hope for the restaurant’s sake that this was just a very off day for them.

This used to be one of our absolute favorite restaurants, which makes writing this review even more disappointing. We’ve always come here specifically for the duck dish. it’s been our go-to every single time. Unfortunately, today was a completely different experience.

The duck was extremely disappointing. The skin on the duck felt terrible. the texture was just off and not enjoyable at all. It honestly ruined what we were most looking forward to. My friend had to spit out a couple bites because it was that unpleasant. We still ended up paying for it. Even though it was half not eaten and half spit.

We’ve seen some of the recent one- and two-star reviews, and I have to admit, I’m starting to realize that a lot of them may have been true. I honestly should’ve looked more carefully before coming in this time.

That said, I do want to mention that the service is still good. Our server was very nice and treated us well, which we truly appreciated.

Overall, though, this was an extremely disappointing experience compared to what we’ve come to expect. We’re really hoping this was just an off day because we’ve loved this place in the past and would still like to come back one day to give it another chance.

Decent place for Thai food, ordered cauliflower Thai style, red veg curry. Food and service both were reasonably okay.

I ended up at White Orchids Thai Cuisine at the Promenade Shops in Saucon Valley for an impromptu dinner with some friends who consider it one of their go-to spots. We had a 6:15 reservation and were seated right away. The staff was incredibly welcoming and stayed attentive throughout the entire meal.

To start, we shared the White Orchids Shishito Peppers, which were a great opener. For the main course, I went with the Pineapple Fried Rice, while my wife ordered the Crab Fried Rice. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Overall, a great dining experience and one I’d gladly repeat.

Great place, and surprisingly wide range of prices. Four levels of spiciness you can choose from, and they can provide extra spices as you need if the hottest is not enough for you. The specials, cocktails, and appetizers were on the pricier side, as you would expect, but not horribly so. I am a big eater, and just chose from the normal entries, and they were very good and priced very well! Each normal entre was about 14 dollars. I would recommend this place for both normal dinners and for dates, as the atmosphere and price range is fitting.

My dish tasted awful. I had ordered a dish that was medium spice with ginger but received a bland dish with no ginger or spice. I asked to order something different but was told that I had to still pay for the dish that I only took two bites of. My girlfriend ordered soup as an appetizer. She kept asking where was the soup. They brought out the soup late with her meal. Every dish we ordered had issues. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money. Don’t go.

This would have been all 5 star but our food came out in cold bowls so cooled off way too quickly. I don’t like eating cold fish curry.
That aside. Flavours were terrific!! Server was lovely friendly and helpful.
