First time going there. The positive, it is a bright clean looking place.
Staff is nice and the food is good if not on the bigger portion size.
It is a fast food style, where you order and pay, get your own beverage and condiments, and sit down in the dining area. However they do give you a number & bring your food to your table; but that’s it. They are not servers.
What I didn’t like it is the plasticware. Some things are difficult to cut with plastic ware and unfortunately this was the case and 2 tines of my plastic fork broke. I only found 1 of the 2 broken tines.
The burrito i got taste good. The steak was a little chewy but no big deal. The chimichangas tasted heavily of old fryer grease and oddly condensed chicken soup.
I’d go back for the burrito.

All of the street tacos are authentic Mexican flavor with high quality ingredients. The salsas are fresh and far better than anything you could buy in a store. Our family has eaten at Lugos almost weekly for years now. Today we tried the chicken lunch fajitas and deluxe dinner fajitas. As you can see from the pictures we easily had a feast and the flavor was outstanding. The best eatery in Sandusky, hands down. Highly recommend and thank you Lugos for such high quality food!

Delicious food in festive, clean, stylish sit down dining area or easily pick up at the drive through take out window. I usually get their amazing street tacos, the Hungry Mexican or Federalli burrito (yum!), but today for the first time I tried their fajitas and WOW! Have you seen their salsa bar? Many fresh flavors to choose from. Did you know there was a pineapple salsa? I didn’t.

Lugos is very delicious more of a fast food style you walk in order and pay like you would at a fast food restaurant you can get your own drinks (Pepsi products) they have alittle salsa bar they give you small cups for I recommend the Mexican ranch I did need a bigger cup for that lol , they give you a number to take to your seat and they will bring your food out to you Waiting time was less than 10 minutes for food! Everyone was satisfied with their dinner the surf and turf burrito is huge heads up, queso is good salsa has a kick all in all a must try they do have public bathrooms available if needed very clean, staff was friendly!

I don’t like hot spicy food. So I didn’t know if I could find anything I could eat there. I got a LaFederali burrito. I had them leave off the Chipotle ranch dressing. It was delicious. It was a huge serving at a reasonable price of $11.99. I definitely would go again.

When my wife and I arrived for our first meal at Lugos, Seb and her co-worker made us feel so welcome. They explained their menu and made recommendations on which sauces went best with which meals. They even came over to the sauce bar and explained each sauce. The atmosphere was very pleasing and our meals were out of this world. Seb and her co-worker check on us during our meal and let us know that we could relax and enjoy the atmosphere for as long as we wanted. Lagos Sandusky is a wonderful place and we highly recommend it.

What a gem! Discovered this restaurant as we needed to visit the area for a hockey game at the local rink. Great find, loved the homeade salsa bar (and small smaple side cuosnti try a variety if options) and taco platter. Staff was great and very helpful.

Best Mexican food I’ve had in years! They are conveniently located across the parking lot from Tractor Supply. The prices are right on for the community. You can have take-out or eat in the resteraunt. The mural on the wall is gorgeous and the service includes a smile. Awesome!!

We stopped in for lunch today at the new Lugo’s Mexican Eats in Sandusky and were absolutely blown away! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and upbeat. The girls at the front counter were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy to assist with our order — it really set the tone for a great experience.
Now let’s talk about the food… incredible! I ordered the Lugo Burrito — a massive, flavor-packed burrito wrapped in crispy bacon (yes, bacon-wrapped), and it was everything I hoped for and more. Perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, and so satisfying. Every bite was amazing.

Absolutely fantastic authentic Mexican food! I have recommended Lugo’s to everyone I know! Service is exceptional! Plenty of parking! The dining area is not large so it can appear swamped with few, but well worth it!!
