This place is a very nice snack or munch place. If you need a place to eat, you should check this place out. Most hotels have just bar food, but this place is a FULL-SERVICE restaurant. They have a menu of quick bites and quality meals. I would recommend their Saffron Rice and Mahi Mahi or their Lemongrass Gyosa. It tastes delicious and is of great quality. The portion sizes are good and it has plenty of seating for large groups. It has a couch, table, and bar seating for lounging or drinking. The staff is attentive and friendly. It takes a long time for food to be served depending on the party size.

If I wasn’t staying in the hotel, I would not bother. The place is very worn out. Crooked tables and strange seating are the theme. The staff of friendly but not helpful. My food was brought in Togo containers and it was all laughed off as a mistake although they never brought real plates despite others having them. It looked like it was thrown into a box that was too small! I guess they ran out or didn’t want to wash any more dishes. The food was the standard pub food. Editable but you will regret it tomorrow . The bartender knew how to do their job and that was a plus one star. I don’t plan on eating here again.

The first indication that this was a special place was at the top of the menu- Shrimp Deviled Eggs. I’ve never seen that before and couldn’t resist ordering it with the drink order. Then there were two other unique items I had to have – Fra Diavolo Potatoes and Beer-Battered Tampura Veggies. All three were very good and made a meal.

It is basically a continental breakfast with some typical “hot bar” options that they prepare in the back as if it is made to order. If that is how they had presented this food, it would have been fine. Instead, they make it seem like a restaurant with actual cooked to order meal options and charge you $14/$15 (egg plate) or $23 for the cold bar options…. some salami, fruit, old croissants, etc… the literal only acceptable item was the open faced toast that they make for those who go with the cold bar option. In the end, we paid $90 for food I don’t usually even bother to eat when it is offered for free at most hotels.

The fact that this hotel presents this as a restaurant is offensive. It is basically a continental breakfast with some typical “hot bar” options that they prepare in the back as if it is made to order. So, we ordered the egg plates which had saltless home fries, old/dry bacon strips, very dense/dry chicken sausage, and large batch scrambled eggs. All the things you usually find on a free-of-charge hot bar/continental breakfast at a hotel. If that is how they had presented this food, I would have been fine. Instead, they make it seem like a restaurant with actual cooked to order meal options and charge you $14/$15 (egg plate) or $23 for the cold bar options…. some salami, fruit, old croissants, etc… the literal only acceptable item was the open faced toast that they make for those who go with the cold bar option, where I forgot to mention also includes 3 different types of cereals. Can’t leave that out. In the end, we paid $90 for food i don’t usually even bother to eat when it is offered for free at most hotels. I should have walked out when I realized.
P.S. they had really comfortable chairs

Steak with mushrooms was excellent, added beer battered vegetables, marvelous. Ruth was an excellent and very pleasant server, offering excellent information on menu choices. The drinks, i think a lemonade margaritas, and espresso martini, excellent. Overall, everyone was great. Nice buffet breakfast but I didn’t get the nice gentleman’s name who helped us mornings Aug 18-19, 2023.

Definitely a convenient option when staying at the Marriott Crystal City, but overall is underwhelming.
The wait staff are great and very attentive and professional. I could not have been happier with the service.
The kitchen is extremely slow for very basic breakfast and the food is not high quality. For example, my Avocado toast was made with Guacamole that had clearly been bought at the store and appeared a bit old with a brown tinge.
With all the great walkable options within minutes of the hotel (for any meal), I recommend a stroll to another restaurant that fits your fancy.

Very pleasant atmosphere. We had breakfast here three times. Waiter(s) were excellent. We split their breakfast sandwich because it was enough for two. I would go back again.
