Stalwart, unassuming eatery providing a range of traditional Thai dishes in a relaxed atmosphere.

Very calm and clean environment. Absolutely great spot for lunch or dinner. We tried the Thai Fried Rice and the Pad Thai, both with chicken and spicy level 2. The chicken was simple and delicious in both plates. We’ve never had pad thai before, and oh my goodness, I know I’m going to be craving this meal in the future. Next time we come, I plan on trying some dumplings and veggie rolls, they looked delicious on another patrons plate, we regret not getting them this time, but we are so full from what we did order. I also want to try the different curry dishes they have listed. Oh, already dreaming of our next visit.
Great spot, definitely recommending!

Update!!! So my husband and I would frequent this restraunt and always loved the food and portions here. Unfortunately, during our recent dining visit November 14th, 2025 for dinner after 6pm after ordering our usual. The appetizer fried calamari, my C6. yellow curry, his C3. panaeng curry, N2. Kee mao (drunken noodles) and he wanted to try a new dish Hp4. Himmaparn Supreme. When everything came out the first thing that was apparent was the quantity (amount) of food had decreased. My husband curry was a much smaller bowl closer to a child’s size while my yellow curry bowl was the usual size. The new dish although delicious small quantity w/ 98% veggies not much meat and the size for a $17+ dish was shocking and mind blowing. It’s unfortunate that the quantity (amount) of food for the higher price point was not what it use to be. My husband felt cheated out of his meal as he was extremely disappointed in the small amount of food at a higher rate jus wasn’t worth coming back anymore for. Hopefully this review will be seen and heard and the needed changes will be addressed and hopefully implemented. It’s truly a shame as for me personally the food and flavors here are delicious but the price point with the amount served just isn’t justified. We don’t mind paying higher price if the quantity and quality matches. The quality as always was excellent the ball was dropped at the small size bowl which is usually the same size as mine and the new dish not matching the price paid.
July 2024 much better experience compared to our recent Easter lunch. The food during this July visit was delicious! Everything is made w/ fresh ingredients, authentic thai flavors, and fare prices for the quality and quantity of the food. The service needs a lil’ work when it comes to jus being present and attending customers. The food was made fresh to order with lil’ to no wait, especially for a dine in sit-down restaurant. Highly recommend the appetizers fried calamari, crab rangoon, and dumplings. My husband ordered one of the curry dishes, and we both shared the Drunken noodle dish, which was like a larger flat wider noodle pad tai. I ordered a small shrimp Tom Kha w/ noodles on the side. We will definitely be back to try the other menu options. I’m becoming a huge fan of their yellow and pineapple curry. So yummy… Keep in mind that when wanting to dine or pick up, the kitchen closes around 3pm for an hour and reopens 4pm.

Crispy dumplings which is how I like them. Refreshing Thai iced tea. Huge portion of Pad Thai Combo with Beef, Chicken, Pork, and Shrimp. I went with Spicy level 2 but would bump that to 3 on another visit. Everything was good. Service was super fast and food was steaming hot (temperature) I would return for sure.

I’m amazed at all the high reviews. My niece and I came here for the first time and were very disappointed.
I ordered ground chicken basil. It was a plate of slop. There was barely any chicken on the plate. What was there was more soggy and shredded chicken than anything. I asked for a 4/5 spicy and it was maaaaybe a 2.
My niece ordered the summer rolls and curry with combo meat.
The summer rolls were almost all lettuce. No flavor. And she says even though she ordered combo meat she could barely find any meat in her curry.
Why so stingy with the proteins?!
Definitely not worth $48!

Viet coffee was so good, great secret coffee option for the morning. Walking in right away gave the feel of authenticity and the smell was there too. Food came out very very good. We really enjoyed and even though it was spicy level 2 it was spicy so I can imagine how 5 is. Drunken noodles were yummy along with the curry. Will visit again for a delicious dinner.

I had the Thai Garden, almost ordered the evil jungle princess, but it sounds hot!
Sauteed veggies and soy sauce, some glass noodle, it was a great mix!
Vegetarians and vegans are always looking for a safe place to eat, this place is highly recommended, just look through the menu and see what you can replace with tofu or vegetables as your protein!

Good is alright. They are not consistent when it comes to the spice level. I used to order a 2 but a few times it’s way too spicy for me to eat. The derive I gave 2 stars because when you order takeout they expect a tip. Which I think is ridiculous. It’s always empty when I go there so I gave it 3 starts on atmosphere.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 – Red Curry (C1) with beef level 1 spice and a Musaman Curry (C4) with pork level 3 spice. First time getting a musaman curry and with it’s description of cadamon and cinnamon, we thought it would be a savory curry with some earthy-tones. Instead, it was an oddly sweet curry, even sweeter than a panang curry! The red curry with beef was good though as it’s bright and creamy from the coconut milk and the basil leaf gave it a peppery mint taste.
Service: 5/5 – friendly but slight language difficulty. We came in at 7:30 PM (30 minutes before closing) and there were still 4 tables there with multiple pick-up orders and the servers did have to turn away 2 parties who didn’t want to take food to go.
Ambiance: n/a/ – ordered food to go. There were some retro diner vibes underneath the Asian facade. There’s a one way speaker blasting music in the corner so depending where you sit, it could be quite noisy.
Value for price: 4/5 – decent food at a reasonable cost. Would ask for recommendations next time if not as familiar with the food.

I feel like I’ve been saying this a lot but I’m new to this area so most of my experiences at these restaurants will be my 1st time. The only difference is that this is my 1st time eating Tai food so keep that in mind that I dont really have anything to compare it to. My friend that went with me has eaten lots of Tai food and she said that this places was very good so she is probably a more reputable source. Everything that I had was delicious except the spring rolls. They were bad but I’ve just never really been a fan of spring rolls. The noodles were delicious! I actually couldnt finish it all and took some home. I will say that I asked her for mild but also asked to but the chilies on the side and I’m glad I did. If they would’ve added all of that it probably would’ve been a little too spicy for me to enjoy. What can I say… I’m a wimp when it comes to super spicy stuff. All in all this place is really good. I keep meaning to go back here but I’ve been honestly trying out different places when I eat out. For the most part I really cook a lot at home but I do plan on getting back to this place. It’s in my list of places in Lawton that I actually enjoy.

Thai Bistro is the best Thai food I’ve had so far – like, in my lifetime. Thats not saying much because I’ve had Thai food maybe 20 times in my life, and much of that is a regional franchise in my hometown. So my experience with authentic Thai food is limited. However my companions both are relative aficionados of Thai food and they both repeatedly said it was the best they’ve had so far. One companion had red curry with chicken. He said he’s had the same from one end of the country to the other and the best he’d had so far was in San Francisco. He said he couldnt believe he was having something that wonderful in a random Thai place in SW Oklahoma. I had the Drunken Noodle with chicken. It was amazing! The only downside – for me, not my companions – was Thai Bistro does not offer alcoholic beverages. I’m still giving them 5 starts though, because even tho I couldnt have a beer with dinner, it was so good it just didnt matter! Will absolutely go back if I have a chance!
