The staff is not only friendly but also informative. They always make sure to let you know about current deals and promotions. For instance, I found out coffee is free on weekends for dine-in customers — a great surprise! On another occasion, I was told breakfast was extended until 1 PM, which was perfect timing for my late start.
One of the standout reasons I keep coming back is the manager, Fabian. He’s always smiling, approachable, and quick to handle any concerns or questions with professionalism and genuine care.
But what really sealed my loyalty to this location happened one weekend when my car stalled right in their driveway. Without hesitation, Fabian remained calm, reassured me, and asked two of his staff members, Erick and Kalub, to help. They didn’t just try once — they stayed with me, kept trying to jump my car until my husband arrived, and refused to take a tip because, as they said, “You’re a regular customer.” That level of kindness and service is rare.
I’ve visited other El Rey locations, but none compare to this one. El Rey is more than food — it’s community, care, and consistency. Highly recommend!
My burrito was really good but the shrimp tacos weren’t. The shrimp had a dirty taste. They appeared to be cleaned, but the taste was definitely off.
I waited 10–15 minutes in the drive-thru for what I assumed would be a properly cooked taco. I open the bag, and there’s no bacon, and the eggs are watery instead of well done. This has happened repeatedly. I always call, they either refund me or remake the order but it keeps happening. This last time I spoke with a manager named Francisco, who didn’t seem to care at all. No apology, no concern just issued me a partial refund for a messed-up order.
Horrible experience from start to finish. At this point, it’s clear they don’t care about their customers or quality control.
