I got the veggie burrito and it was amazing. Quick and friendly service. Tried the pork pozde and it had a wonderful flavor and just the right amount of spice. Warmed me up nicely on a cool autumn morning.

This is somewhere around my eighth time going, And after another perfect experience it’s time for a review. La Catrina is over the top in flavor and quality. Coming from California I have had what is truly top notch Mexican food, Moving to Sandpoint was scary due to the fear of losing my favorite food. La Catrina put those worries to rest. It is the Type of food you get at a Quinceañera or Wedding that is unmatched. I’ve tried almost their whole menu and for some reason the Beef Quesadillas just Smacked!!
The Tortillas was cooked to perfection with a tiny crunch on the outside and still softer in the middle. The Carne Asada. . . Oh man the Carne Asada was perfect. It is Juicy with the perfect amount of crispy bits. Note I have yet to get a peace of gristle. That tell’s me they are using quality beef and trimming it to give us the best tasing Carne Asada instead of the R.O.I for them using fatty meet like others. Then we get on the topic of Affordability. I have visiting Family at this time and picked up the bill for 5 people, and I also picked up the bill for 5 people at Taco Time in Spokane and spent less at La Catrina for WAY!!!!! Better food. The Owner is truly serving our community with quality and Affordability. Not to mention he has also served our country in military. Basically if you haven’t gone Just GO!! You will thank me later.
Side note his Salsa is caucasian friendly so throw it on, it’s amazing.

Not only my favorite food truck but my favorite place to eat in town. I probably have tacos here 3 days a week, and all the tacos are outstanding! Authentic Mexican food, family owned and operated. What really stands out, however, is the quality service. They answer the phone and greet kindly. No matter how busy they are I’m always left with the feeling they value and appreciate me. This is a prime example of the power of exceptional customer service!

Excellent food! My wife and I were visiting and stumbled upon a cool food truck lot. We love authentic Mexican tacos and La Catrina really made our day. We sampled a few different meat options and everything had such great flavor!
