I called a week before my son’s birthday party to order cookies and cupcakes but when we went to pick up the order it was not ready. Thankfully I had ordered the pick up for the day before the party so we were able to come back the next day to get them in time to serve. The cookies and cupcakes tasted good but they did not look quite like what we had discussed (colorful cupcakes with rainbow sprinkles were instead just topped with plain white frosting and the cookie design looked very rushed). My guess is that they forgot about our order and then had to rush to fulfill it by the next day. Again everything tasted good but aesthetically I was a bit underwhelmed for the price and quality I was expecting. I would maybe stick to ordering their delicious donuts or call again a day or two prior to pick up to ensure that they do not forget about the order!

I had a lovely time at Donut express this afternoon. The owner is a really wonderful person, and was very kind and warm to me, my friend, and my friends daughters. The donuts were fantastic, I especially liked the coconut glazed donut holes.

This shop has the best coffee and donuts and breakfast sammies around! Income here for coffee almost no matter what – flavored without being oily or cloyingly sweet. Milky Way is the best! And if I were to eat a donut, I’d make sure it counts – these are hands down the best I’ve had in a 50mi radius. And the staff is friendly and helpful, and it’s quick and easy. Best shop around.
