It’s a family tradition for friends of mine from Macon, GA to eat here and then go look at the Christmas lights in Callaway Gardens and they took me along. What a charming restaurant where you stepback in time to the ‘car-hop’ days. The fried pickles were perfect and our Pup loves the experience of us eating in the car lol. Picnic tables available and the BBQ is perfect! Fun experience, will be back!

I will not eat here again. I purchased my regular, a pull post sandwich with sweet potato fries. As I was eating the fries in my vehicle, I notice it was a ketchup cup with two regular fries dipped inside of it as someone was eating it and then they used this plate/tray to put my food in it.

I approached staff or a manager and he said that it comes that way, in which i know for a FACT THAT THAT WAS A BIGGGGGGGGG LIE HE TOLD, because I had this before and it never came this way additionally NO RESTURANT CAN PUT KETCHUP on no one food – ketchup is given on the side as a condiment because they donot know if the customer is allergic to ketchup or even eats ketchup.

That incompetent guy think because I’m black, I’m incompetent like him, additionally black people donot put ketchup on sweet potatoes fries period.

I left the food there and walked out, he didn’t offer to make this situation right or better. And the worse part is another employee tried agree to say that they plates comes with ketchup in the plate with sweet potato fries. Bye

I have been eating here for years. It used to be excellent. But over the years this place has declined in taste. They are still decent but I feel as though it’s a hit and miss. I will still keep trying them out.. hopefully they will up there game. It’s Cole slaw not onion slaw. Leave Don’t if the onions out of it.. and the ribs maybe do not serve so hard and unable to eat.

Arrived just prior to closing. Ordered Cheeseburger, Lil Piggy, Slaw Dog and Onion Rings. Food was excellent ! It only took a few minutes from time of order and they bring it right to your car window. Be warned though, seems like staff understandably wants to leave on time and will shut the lights off shortly after close to help things along.

First off, we loved the atmosphere and the staff.

This place is an old school drive-in with a number of outdoor picnic tables if you want to eat onsite. Since we live an hour away, we chose to eat onsite.

Everyone that we came in contact with was helpful, friendly, and seemed to be genuinely concerned for our well being during our visit. During our visit I learned that they are under third generation family ownership, and I sincerely hope that they are able to continue the tradition on for generations to come.

Next, what did we order? A little bit of everything, honestly. For my wife and I we ordered with the expectation to take the leftovers home, and that’s exactly what we did.

Our order was, a barbecue sandwich, cup of Brunswick stew, a cheeseburger, a hamburger, a chili cheese slaw dog, and of course fries, sweet potato fries, and drinks.

And, the review:

My wife loved the stew. I thought that it was a little on the sweet side, but she loved it and we brought home two extra pints.

The hot dog was very good, but I will skip the cheese (sliced American) next time and stick with chili and slaw.

The burger was “interesting”. The restaurant describes it on their menu as “scrambled”. Think about it as a sloppy Joe without the tomato sauce.

The barbecue sandwich was very good and I will definitely order it again.

The fries look to be house cut, fresh potatoes. Unfortunately, we were there in the middle of their evening rush hour, and the fries were a little soggy, undercooked. I am guessing that is the result of below temperature oil as they were hustling to fill orders. I am thinking that on another day, or at another hour, they would have been spot on perfect.

And before we left we ordered a milkshake, orange cream flavor. Very sweet and very good. Our car hop said that it is made with their soft serve ice cream and Fanta Orange syrup. I am guessing that means no calories.

All in all, we will go back, choosing our time of arrival thirty minutes before, or after “rush hour”.

Cool old restaurant with lots of history. Service was very friendly. Ribs were too dry but burgers and fries were amazing! A must visit in Thomaston.

I just had a blast from the past at this drive-up ! It felt like stepping back in time, which I loved. The prices were unbelievably cheap , so I definitely didn’t break the bank. The food was decent, nothing to write home about, but totally hit the spot. Overall, a super chill experience. Anyone else love a good old-fashioned drive-up?

Piggie Park is not just a restaurant, it’s a nostalgic experience. It’s always a pleasure to support any establishment that’s been in operation since 1950.
