Was a bit skeptical getting pizza in Hawaii… but the wife wanted it, and honestly glad we came.
Coming from arguably the best pizza in the world (CT), my standards are pretty high. My baseline for judging pizza restaurants is the margherita.
Overall our pie was on par with the great local spots we go to back home. Sauce was excellent, fresh mozz and basil, crispy texture – doesn’t fall apart when holding it. Dough was probably as good as you’ll get on the island.
A bit pricey, you’ll pay as much here as a great poke bowl, but if you want pizza it is what it is. Good service, nice casual vibe, and 90s feel good alternative music. Overall 5 stars! *****

The pizza here is delicious!! The flavor was great, the pizza was crispy (we love that), and the atmosphere was fun. We were very impressed and will definitely eat here again on our next vacation. I really appreciated that they offer a specialty pizza split option on their menu as it was our last night in town and we didn’t want to get too much food and then waste it. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

We went with our kids for dinner and got seated right away which was a nice surprise because it was busy! We got two specialty pizzas and split them so we could try different kinds. The BBQ one was delicious, as was their Margerita & Pepperoni. My favorite was their mushroom with the goat cheese and truffle oil though–delicious!! My daughter got a mocktail pina colada and that was a fun treat for her but it was pricey ($12). All in all though we loved it! It’s on the expensive side but it was good pizza!

Who would have thought we’d come all the way to Hawai‘i and find some of the best pizza we’ve had in YEARS? Koloa Pizza Kitchen + Bar absolutely blew us away. The crust, the toppings, the flavor — everything was spot on. You can tell they take pride in their recipes and cook everything with care.
And the Mai Tais… hands down the best on the island. Perfect balance, super refreshing, and exactly what you want after a long day exploring Kauai.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, fast service, and food that exceeds expectations. If you’re in Koloa or anywhere on the south side, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won’t regret it!

Stopped here for takeout pizza. We enjoyed some drinks at the bar while we waited – a mojito and mai tai. Great atmosphere and staff were friendly. The pizza and wings were delish! I would definitely visit again.

We stopped at Koloa Pizza Kitchen and Bar after a long day in the sun with my family and it ended up being a great choice. I do not remember coming here before and it looks like it has been recently renovated because it felt fresh and updated inside. The staff was super welcoming and our server was awesome, always checking in on us, keeping waters filled, and making sure everything came out right.
I ordered the Garlicky White Devil but asked if we could do it with red sauce instead of the white and they were able to accommodate easily. The pizza was excellent. The crust had the perfect crunch, the arugula, garlic, and caramelized onions worked so well together, and I liked that the onions still had a little bite to them instead of being overly soft. The house devil sauce added a nice kick without being overpowering and the red sauce itself was flavorful and balanced. I also ordered the Caesar salad which was classic and tasted great, good portion size too.
We started with the focaccia bread strips and marinara which were awesome and kept my little niece happy. My parents got the barbecue pork pizza and my brother and sister in law had the margarita pizza. Everyone was happy with what they ordered and the portions were generous enough that we all had leftovers to enjoy the next day. The Greek salad was another win on the side.
If I had to note one thing it would be the prices. The pizza and salads are a little more expensive than I expected, but being in Hawaii that is pretty normal and the portions and flavor make it worth it. Overall this was a really good dinner spot for us and it is definitely somewhere we will be coming back to on future trips to Kauai.
