Great atmosphere with friendly staff and good food! Portions were a little smaller than other places, but I did go during happy hour where prices are reduced.
I would recommend going during happy hour if you’re looking for a good meal!

We went to this Kabuki branch on Edinger Rd right beside the Century Theatres we got seated right away for dinner there were three of us and our small dog riding a stroller. The hosts were kind listens to our requests. They allow service dogs so we were glad that they allowed him to be with us. We ordered from the Henry the waiter who was assigned to us. The orders were a Rainbow roll for me. My wife ordered Mixed Tempura dinner and my son ordered the Unagi roll. The mixed tempura came out early and the rolls came out about 15 minutes later. Honestly they should have waited for all the orders before serving them. The mixed tempura was not crispy and the rolls only had thin slices of Avocado and Unagi for the Unagi Roll and my Rainbow Roll had small slices of Tuna, Salmon mixed with a lot of crab meat. The avocado slices were also thin sliced. We used to eat at the Kabuki branch close to us in Cerritos and their fish slices on the rolls were bigger than the ones we got at this restaurant. Hopefully the chef who prepared our rolls will need to be retrained on slicing and rolling next time. Are we coming back? Maybe….

The food is always good and I still eating here pregnant (grilled salmon of course). The service is good – sometimes you can wait a little bit to have your food but it is worth the wait lol My husband and I are addicted to the tempura ice cream as you can see in the picture.

Consistency is Key. Every Kabuki I have been to…. and I have been to many, They are consistent. The Quality, quantity and Taste is on par. in my travels I have always looked for their restaurant. My favorite salmon skin salad, Spicy Udon seafood and Salmon skin rolls. I LOVE THAT They make their rolls traditional and they dont drenched them with eel sauce. Just delicious. Im just mad coz I could not get into my Red Mask club.

It was good. They have a GREAT Happy Hour when I went there previously. This particular occasion was a birthday lunch. I missed taking pics of my sushi, but the yellowtail sushi was fresh, and I ordered a tuna hand roll. It was also very good. Our server was a sweetheart and made me an interesting cocktail, but not too sweet, as requested. It was perfect. My son had teriyaki chicken and a Japanese ice cream cookie, which he enjoyed.
The restaurant is large, with indoor/outdoor seating. Somewhat private booths, which is good (added partitions because of Covid days?), and it’s kind of a cafeteria feel inside, but nice patio seating outside.
It’s all part of a destination spot called Bella Terra in Huntington Beach near the 405 freeway. Loads of restaurants and shops there.
This was fun. Will go next time for their Happy Hour. ✌️

Came on a Sunday night wanting a easy place to sit down to get off my feet with my partner while eating something familiar (Japanese food). From the moment I walked in I was met with a very rude worker that honesty we should have just left since half of our experience was soured and I wish I used that money on something else. Thankfully someone else took over our table halfway through but for the unremarkable tasting food (the lemonades were tasty) and high price, I won’t be coming back or recommending to any of my family. To clarify, the rest of the staff was helpful and polite but it only takes one time, especially being my first impression. Go support a local Japanese business if you can, it was pretty late and not much was open when I visited. Eating food should be comforting, I recommend Jounestu Ramen instead of you are willing to make the drive.

The place is near the movie theater, which gives a good vibe to come inside for a bunch. They have put up signs for happy hour with prices to be less expensive than other places for happy hour. The place inside has many decorations that are a mixture of Asian cultures, which include the war art that is near the restroom. They also have an outdoor patio and bar for both sushi and alcohol. Making it a place for different people.
The service is generally nice, but with some lack of numbers to carry out the service, the place concentrated on big groups and observed the small groups if needed, but very attentive. But the observed progress of the work, it shows the separation of the active to inactive waiters/waitress by the same face in different tables. Which is the only drawback.
The food is beautiful in appearance, and the taste is satisfactory, which makes itself in the best than it other branches. The tuna roll is balanced to have a right degree of rice and tuna that doesn’t figure for quantity but craft for quality. The squid balls were perfectly cooked inside that many restaurants had made the mistake, but they also made the mistake that made short to perfection the freshness that the squid balls were made. Which in many aspects that most restaurants had uncooked the inside to be cold, soggy, or can accidently for food poisoning by the raw squid. This restaurant didn’t make the mistake, but left out the freshness that the Squid balls were baked like a donut. The breading and inside would start to lose the intense flavors as time outside of the oven, which it tastes from the balls dough. The nacho sushi is different in craftsmanship that it was made blissful of flavors, but unknown of sour crop sauce that can smooth out the intense kick that gives the variety taste and adjust to the dish that perfect with creativity. Which made the place that can stand on the location as one of the great for sushi lovers and relaxation to eat.

Great experience, celebrating father’s day, few days earlier.
Not too busy and restaurant workers were able to spend time with us, regarding questions about drinks and food.
Service was outstanding.
Food was great
I ordered a few drinks but a Mule drink on the menu, was ok ( too much of the ginger taste in it)
But other than that.
It was a great experience.

The sush here is top notch, and the Chinese car bombs or whatever they’re called are totes delish. Highly recommended.
Our waitress was super awesome. I’d never done a “car bomb” drink, and she walked us through the whole thing and didn’t even make fun of us. Seriously, that’s good service. She coulda been like, NERDS!
But she didn’t she walked us through it and helped with everything we needed, and we liked everything we had. The sushi platter I had was amazing. Well prepared, high quality ingredients.
So if you’re looking for that little thing to put your night over the edge into a legendary night, just go here and it won’t disappoint.
