Got it home and while things looked good at first, it was pretty much inedible. I haven’t picked a place this bad in years. The picture shows what I had left after I threw out what I had served in dishes.
The hot and sour soup was just kind of peppery with no other real flavor. It looks like normal but was terrible. The curry chicken was likewise spiced heavily, and while it actually tasted like curry it was also not very good at all. Add to that the fact that they wanted to charge $2.50 for a single serving of rice (which should come with the curry) is terrible.
The service was quick as there was nobody at the restaurant. There was also plenty of parking for the same reason. Just not recommended AT ALL.
Great price and nice clean place overall.
The reason I give it a five star is because the prices are great for the quality of the food . But overall, the food is a four.
Their Steamed Live Black Bass and Surf Clams in particular are great. However, you might have to call ahead to check if they have live fish available. The Fish Head Soup from the Black Bass is a nice appetizing soup as well. Their lobster and crab options are also fine if you like Chinese style. I’d also recommend the Snow Pea Leaf and Singapore Noodles.
The service is typical for a authentic Chinese restaurant.
