We have driven by Italia Gardens on many occasions and our friends asked if we wanted to go to their favorite Italian restaurant which happened to be Italia Gardens.

If you are looking for a tasty Italian meal at a reasonable price and excellent service, you need to stop in at Italia Gardens.

As we walked in the wood burning oven was fired up, see photo.

We arrived early and were seated quickly and our server, Savannah, was very pleasant and attentive to us.  Would definitely ask for Savannah on our next visit for sure.

With the meal, came a very nice salad for 4 with greens, olives, tomatoes, onion, pepperoncini and croutons with an Italian dressing.  Also a wonderful loaf of bread with whipped butter.

With the meal we ordered garlic bread which was excellent and would serve 4 easily.

We placed our orders and by the time we all had a plate of salad, our meals had arrived.

The portions were definitely on the large side seeing that each of us got a to-go container.

As much as we wanted dessert there was just no move even though the desserts sounded delicious .

There is a history for the Italia Gardens, take time to read it.

Would definitely go back to try a different dish.

And lastly, their to-go bag was labeled reuse and recycle, which is being environmentally conscious.

I’ve been going here for years everything I’ve had is great all the sauces every dish ive had is top notch. I typically do the salmon alfredo or pesto, those are my 2 top choices for sauce , the salmon is perfectly cooked every time with a nice seared crust. The terimisu is also recommended. Well worth the price and a very nice atmosphere as well. 10/10

A good Italian restaurant located in Oxford.

Came here for dinner after passing by the place like thousands of times. I was running a race the next morning so needed to carbo load. I also want to preface this that I don’t typically like Italian food.

First of all, right off the bat, the service is phenomenal. Our waitress was super nice. Very friendly, helpful with the menu. Attentive and overall just made the experience better.

The menu is a good size and seems to have a pretty decent variety, the pizza looked particularly good. I’d like to come back and try it sometime. Pizza just wasn’t what I was feeling that night.

We had the lasagna and the ravioli and the bruschetta. The bruschetta was good, although a bit oily for my taste. Both lasagna and the raviolis were good, although I found the sauce way too sweet. We also had a tiramisu to go and it was pretty good.

Overall, it’s a pretty good Italian restaurant and if you like Italian food I would recommend them.

I used to come here all the time with my mom when she was around. One of our last visits wasn’t great—the food and overall experience were disappointing. I haven’t been back in probably close to four years.

I decided to order some food for delivery, hoping things had improved since then. Regardless of it being delivery, the complete lack of care or quality check is wild to me.

Unfortunately, it couldn’t have been further from the truth. I ordered the Alfredo and a calzone, both of which were barely edible. The sauce was completely separated, and the calzone was charred on the bottom and somehow still cold inside.

It’s sad not being able to support local businesses because the quality just isn’t there—especially when they’re charging $25 a plate for food that’s barely edible. I’m not trying to be harsh, but you can’t expect people to pay that kind of money and receive food like this.

Very disappointing.

ordered takeout tonight — mostaccioli with meat sauce and meatballs, and chicken marsala with broccoli. It came with two fresh salads, a loaf of bread, and both ranch and Italian dressing. The salads were crisp with delicious homemade croutons, and everything was absolutely amazing!

The staff was super friendly, and the wait time was next to nothing considering how good the food was. Everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. It’s great to see a family restaurant still serving high-quality food at a great price.

The inside of the restaurant was warm and inviting — I especially loved the cozy flame from the wood-fired pizza oven. I’ll definitely be back!

The meatballs are to die for! We got the app with 3 meatballs for 10. Bit pricey but man they were delicious! Probably my favorite part of the meal. The lasagna is also amazing! Our dinner came with a salad and the ranch was great.

It was delightful. Have eaten at the one in Davison for years. Now I meet my bestie at this one and couldn’t be happier. Great food. Awesome service and management that really cares that you are happy. This may sound weird but this place even has clean floors and tables which means that they care about their customers. Today was a great day with great food!!!! ❤️

Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. They were great with our kids. Very clean restaurant including the bathrooms. My only complaint would be the parking lot and exterior of the building.

The food is good. Typical Italian done well. I had the lasagna, and it was delicious. My son said it was the best salmon he has ever had, better than my grilled salmon at home which is a favorite of his. Great bread.

They take pride in their history here, which you don’t usually see.

I came with my kids, wife and mother in law, and was told it was a 30-40 minute wait for a table. After waiting for 30 minutes, we were told it would be at least 1 hour more. They almost pushed us out of the door. No apology. No explanation. There were empty tables and the people that came in at the same time as us got seated in 15 minutes. My guess is that the place did not want to serve us because we are a bi-racial family, which should tell you everything you need to know about this wonderful establishment. Never coming back again!

You were not there. The couple before us was even offered complementary wine, because they had to wait the 15 minutes. There were 3 tables available for parties of 6 or 8. Deny all you want; an apology would have been better. Your explanation is as bad as your grammar!

I ordered the Mastacholi Diavolo with meatballs — sounded good on paper, but what I got was a sad, cold mess that tasted like it had been scraped out of a chafing tray after a banquet and sent back to the kitchen for round two. Cold, flavorless, and flat-out disappointing.

It took over an hour to get to our table, and by then I was half-expecting a handwritten apology, not a lukewarm plate of regret. Our waitress didn’t help matters either. Once the food hit the table, she vanished like a magician’s final act no check-ins, no refills, no “how’s everything?” Probably because she’d already auto-gratuity’d the bill and knew she didn’t have to lift a finger for a tip.

Between the glacial service, cafeteria food, and checked out staff, Italian Gardens managed to turn what should’ve been a simple pasta dinner into an exercise in patience and disappointment. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.
