I went here for the Monday-Thursday late night AYCE dining for $20 and it was amazing! There was a bit of a wait but they take your number and message you when your table is ready. Lots of different rolls and nigiri and appetizers to choose from and all of them are delicious. The lemon seared salmon was my favorite! Host and server are both very friendly and attentive!

I can’t believe I haven’t posted for Mr. Shota! My new favorite AYCE Sushi spot. Always greeted promptly on entry.
Super fortunate to get here right before the rush and was seated immediately. They place is a little on the smaller side but they’re super quick and their staff are amazing.
There are so many options, even for vegetarians. Their chefs are top notch and all the fish taste so fresh. As you can see, the plating is mouth watering… what else can you say.
So happy there are places like this in the Southwest.

Great place for sushi rolls! Really cool decor inside, and a large menu selection of many, many different rolls. All you can eat! I can’t remember all the different things I tried, but from the same to the monster rolls, it was all pretty good. Service is also quick and fun. They accommodated our group of 8 on a moments notice, I don’t think they do reservations, could be wrong.

This place is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. From the ambience to the music, customer service and food, I enjoy myself everytime I’ve gone there. They are fast and the order is always fresh. The waiters are very knowledgeable about the menu and very patient helping you decide what you’d like to have. Mr. Shota was recommended by a friend as one of the best “Sushi Eat All You Can” places here in Las Vegas, located on South Durango. The venue is amazing, with excellent food and wonderful people. Despite having a limited staff, you can see the effort they put in to provide full service. Megan was exceptional in attending to our order. Hats off to the staff in the kitchen!

Thank you SIEUN for being an amazing server to my family and I. She never leaves us hanging or waiting to order. She always came just on time. She has served us a few other times we came here and her service never changed. So thank you SIEUN<3 Also thank you to the sushi chefs, you guys are quick and sushi is still bomb! Thank you to the staff for always picking up our empty and done plates, giving us more space on the table. The sushi here is good. They also have other food than just sushi. The best bet here is to do all you can eat.
This place isn’t that big, so it can get really busy depending on what time you come. When we come for dinner, we usually wait 30-40m to get a table. The least time we waited around dinner time was 20m. They have a system where you check in and they’ll text you when your table is ready. You can also see through the text link of how many people are ahead of you.
Parking can get packed too since there are other restaurants around the plaza.

If you’re looking for solid all-you-can-eat sushi at a decent price, Mr. Shota delivers. The sushi is fresh and tasty with a good variety to choose from. The wait can be long, especially during peak times, but I really appreciated their online waitlist system — being able to see your spot in line makes the wait much more manageable. Overall, a good value and worth checking out if you’re craving sushi!

After calling several other sushi restaurants with no luck, the hostess here was incredibly accommodating. She offered us a table that had been reserved by a no-show party and even adjusted the setup when our group unexpectedly grew from seven to eight people. We told her we were fine squeezing in, but she still brought over an extra chair to make sure everyone was comfortable. That kind of thoughtful service really stood out to me.
Our server Chris (I’m 95% positive that was his name), was outstanding. Despite our group being scattered with our ordering and not quite sure what we wanted, he efficiently took all of our orders and seemed to understand exactly what we were looking for. The food started arriving within minutes, which was impressive in itself… considering how much we all ordered. The quality was exceptional — honestly, I wasn’t expecting sushi this good at an AYCE price point. At ~$30, the variety on their menu far exceeded other AYCE sushi places I’ve tried across different states.
The welcoming staff, quick service, delicious sushi, and affordability made this just a great way to end a special day celebrating family (and my cousin finding her wedding dress a few hours earlier). Highly recommend Mr. Shota to any group looking for high-quality all-you-can-eat sushi paired with genuinely great service!

I’m eating Mr. Shota right now on a Sunday night and I think I order from this place every two weeks. It is amazing. It tastes delicious. The fish is literally always fresh as can be. They give enough rice fish ratio. They’re so kind every single time I order to go. It is amazing place to eat. I would recommend it through and through.
