I’ve been coming for years and there remains no complaints about the food, which is excellent.

Beware the falsified opening hours though. Turning up with 40 minutes until closing means you are told it is ‘takeaway only’; information not provided anywhere but pronounced the moment you get im the shop. Not a great way to feel welcome on a rainy evening. Either the staff are trying to sneak an early close, or the owner doesn’t pay them to serve and then clean properly after the place shuts. Either way, not ideal.

Very good burrito, but a real burrito doesn’t have rice, I know you can chose to not have it but if you don’t you end up with a meat and picolo with sauces. For 12£ at least they should try to compensate with a bit extra to make it eye appealing.
But still I do recommend them.
But these times one can do what they can.

It’s a nice place with friendly and helpful staff. Food is generally nice, not the greatest I’ve ever had but burritos are well filled and we keep coming back. Also really good drink selection with Jaritos. Overall it’s a solid and reliable lunch option.

Today was an exhilarating experience as we visited Mission Burrito in Oxford, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the friendly server behind the counter greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm, setting the tone for a fantastic meal. The restaurant was bright and inviting, with a sparkling clean environment that made us feel right at home. You can’t miss the only tomato-red building on that side of St. Michaels Street across from Cowan’s Pharmacy.

To our delight, plenty of seating was available; food portions were filling, and the best part? It wasn’t crowded at all! After many trips to Oxford filled with massive crowds and endless queues at the busy Covered Market and other shops and restaurants, today felt like a breath of fresh air. With no long waits and a relaxed atmosphere, we were able to walk around Oxford and enjoy our experience thoroughly, having an excellent, tasty meal at Mission Burrito. What a fantastic day out!

No idea how it has good reviews.
It was tasteless. I had to take it home to add sauce and spice to it.
£10 is extremely expensive for poor taste.

The serving lady talked super fast and unclear too and appeared very unbothered on customer service.

Was shut yesterday when I got there just before 7, no sign explaining why.

Recently they have been extremely inconsistent with their serving sizes, sometimes I get a good amount of meat but mostnof the time it’s not alot considering how much it costs. Ive been coming here for years but I think I’ll go to the place in Westgate social instead.

Really nothing special. Just one type of rice to choose from, no corn, pinto beans were hard/ undercooked and overall it lacked flavour. Paid over £11 for my burrito because they charge extra for cheese and sour cream so it’s more expensive than I would have paid at tortilla or chipotle which tastes better.

We had a great experience at Mission Burrito Oxford! The staff were extremely patient with us (including two kids) while we decided and even changed our orders. They kindly accommodated dietary requests and were warm, helpful, and welcoming throughout. Highly recommend!

Love Mission Burrito! Food is fresh, the people are helpful and fast, love sitting in the steamed up window seats.

Usually have the salad and rice box. Free water is a really nice touch.

Thank you. Will keep coming back!

They no longer do tomato salsa, for reasons known only to them. You have to have red cabbage instead. This is criminal and my rice box tasted *disgusting*. Never going here again. What mex fast food place WONT do tomato salsa? Are they out of their minds? Will have to go to their only competitor in the Westgate centre instead.
