Cool Breeze
We were seated timely and received pretty good chips and salsa. However, it took 45 minutes for us to receive our meals. We pretty much got full on chips and our drinks. Management did his best, it seems they were short staffed. Food was a little more than edible, decent portion size, could have used more seasonings. There prices are excellent for families .

Great service, mouthwatering food, and tasty cocktails. On The Border is a regular date night for my husband and I. We enjoy sharing the sampler while sipping on the Skinny Margaritas and Modelo. We have never sat in the dining area, but love sitting at the bar.

The atmosphere is great. You can go to the bar and watch “The Game” or go to the dining area and enjoy a cozy meal. Nice portions….definitely get your money’s worth. Mango Tango Margarita is awesome!

Chicken tortilla soup was much to my liking. Bits of zucchini, dollops of cheese, and rice added to the savory soups made for a hearty tasty lunch. Salsa and chips were a bit spices but the zip grew to taste good. Just need to clean the dust from senor’s pic for my complete satisfaction.

Went there last night for date night with my wife and it was excellent. The food was great, just the flavor I was looking for (ultimate fajitas) the wife had brisket tacos, they came out burnt but they quickly fixed the issue. The server Jordan was the best server I have had in years. He was knowledgeable, he was polite and he was always around when we needed anything. All in all great food great service and great drinks, they got a repeat customer for sure.

Personally, my wife and I have had a great experience after coming to this location multiple times. For a chain restaurant the food is excellent. My one and only complaint is that the staff is constantly changing and this, I believe, is the reason that our food takes a little longer to get to us. If the wait staff is constantly changing then I could assume the cook staff is in the same boat. Our waitress the last time we came was great just as the time before that but our food always seems to take a while longer, then I would expect from a ‘Mexican’ restaurant.

It was an hour before close when we arrived. We were expecting poor/rushed service. Instead, the staff were actually very friendly and knowledgeable. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. The hostess informed us it was taco Tuesday, which was perfect because me and my husband love tacos! The regular beef and chicken tacos were a little to moist,(tortilla fell apart)but still okay. We did substitute flour for corn tortillas, not sure if that made a difference. The southwest and brisket tacos were really flavorful. Overall great experience, would definitely return.

The service was extremely slow despite there not being a lot of patrons. The meals left a lot to be desired. My wife ordered chicken fajitas. What she received was a portion that fit on one wrap. My In laws ordered fajitas for 2 and what came out would have been barely enough for me alone. We have been to several on the borders restaurants and this one is by far the worst. Our experiences at the other on the border restaurants were fantastic, and I am not sure I would frequent this place again. We even had to get our own high chair. I would have rated it a 0, but that’s not an option. I am left thinking that Taco Bell would have been a better option
