If you’re on the University of Illinois campus and are looking for good stone oven style pizza, this is the place.
They have two sizes (personal/ large) and you can customize the pizza anyway you want. Once you walk in you’ll see “build your own” menus. Customize, then bring it to the counter. They will call your name when it’s ready.

Great place to get Quick Italian food on campus. The portion sizes are great and the food is very customizable. Got a veggie pizza and the crust was right amount of crispy and the sauce was tangy and spicy. But the quality of toppings can be a lot better.
Staff is always friendly. If your order is wrong, they are happy to remake it at no extra cost.
The store is always crowded and offers a huge dining space. IMO, the desserts are way overpriced and you can get better deals on them at other stores.

Hands down the best customizable pizza spot around! You can load up to 9 toppings with affordable prices and they don’t skimp on quality either. Fresh ingredients, tons of options, and a perfect crust make this place a go-to for pizza lovers who want it their way.

Mia Za’s is a cult classic for a reason. You’re gonna get excellent and affordable pizzas exactly how you want them. Pizzas are made in front of you to your exact specification, with screens and sheets available to order with. Seating is a bit of an issue, but the upstairs seating alleviates it: recommended to take out though.
Also don’t ask for two olive oil selections on your pizza, they will drench the pizza in olive oil. Delicious, and shows dedication to providing quality tailored food, if a bit hard to eat!!

This place is perfect for young university students, with friendly staff and tasty pizzas at good prices. It was a bit too noisy and chaotic for my taste, and it could have been cleaner, probably because it was so busy. I think I’ll get my pizza to go next time lol

High quality ingredients and a delightful concept – food that you will undoubtedly enjoy. They offer 4 form factors – pizzas, sandwiches, pasta and salads. You pick the ingredients (a very impressive selection of them) , and it’s assembled and baked fresh in front of you. As simple as that.
But far from a subway-like concept, the end result is nearly always delightfully tasty (given you pick toppings that go well together of course). Very affordable prices for both the quality and portions as well. An instant recommendation to get a good meal, or bring visitors for quick, high quality food.

I’ve been here repeatedly, each time getting something different (pasta, pizza, panini).
Found the best item to be pizza. Always get bacon and pineapple on mine. Really good. Always hot and fresh. And best of all, affordable.
Staff and atmosphere are nice and pleasant.

I live hours away from this place and will look for excuses to come down this way just to go get takeout – I love me some Mia Za’s.
You can build your own pasta by selecting your choice of noodles, choice of sauce, and up to seven toppings. You can add a generous side of garlic bread and a fountain drink. There are options for portion sizes available as well. The salads are delicious – our favorite is the pear and goat cheese salad. Pizzas are customizable, just like the pasta, and delicious as well. There are quite a few interesting flavored drinks to choose from and great dessert options. Mia Za’s is excellent if you’re a vegetarian. The staff here works hard and is amazing – they really deserve big kudos!
Parking is usually a challenge, so be prepared to walk a couple of blocks – totally worth it!

Mia Za’s is a staple on campus! They have build your own sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and paninis which are great. The tiramisu is creamy, and their smoothies are refreshing. Prices are also very reasonable.

They Burnt my pizza
Ambiance: Firstly the strategy of making the whole menu system with coloring the circles of ingredients on the menu page one wants in their dish is good but the whole page system makes the waiting area really untidy due to the pages lying down and thrown here and there. On that their coloring pens are also never working or finished. The seating/dining area is good.
Food: They literally burnt my pizza. It was my first time at Mia Za’s Pizza and I was disappointed by the fact that they burnt it. And then didn’t replace it. Also, it was a full size big pizza. My friends ordered pasta which seemed good.
Service: The service was fast but so was there over to the highest degrees. The staff was friendly and welcoming but needs to pay attention in rush hours.
Value for money: I’ll say totally. Even though my first experience wasn’t that good. The service, quantity and food here is great and that’s what I have heard from others. I look forward to going sometime soon.
