Rocky Rococo Cookie: For most of my teenage years and twenties, Rocky’s was my go-to pizza chain. Although there are multiple locations, the chain is primarily in Wisconsin. The first restaurant opened in my college town of Madison back in 1974. They’re known for my favorite type of pizza, which is pan style. In the context of a fast-food pizza chain, their crust is thick, soft, chewy, and flavorful. I’m usually a cheese pizza guy most of the time, but if you like sausage Rocky’s sausages are massive.
As delicious as their pizza can be, today I’m focusing on the cookie that came with the meal. I couldn’t find much info online other than that they offer freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. That’s interesting as the cookie I have is clearly an M&M chocolate chip cookie (not complaining, just an observation). I also was not the one to place the order, just happened to be at the party where it was consumed. The cookies are thin, but they have a nice amount of chewiness to them along with a superb buttery flavor. Then there’s the always tasty M&M pieces are milk chocolate chips. Although it’s not my ideal cookie (I prefer mine thick, chewy, and with plenty of frosting) it was still delectable. Doughboy approved

I’m extremely irate with the service that was provided at rocky rococo! I went inside to Order a pizza and it was only two people ordering. I had to wait 50 minutes for a pizza while workers were out back smoking cigarettes and such. One worker was in back making pizzas with no gloves and had dirt filled in his long nails making sausage and placing them on the pizzas. That is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever saw. After seeing that I wasn’t eating that pizza at all. I called corporate to tell them about the experience and they didn’t even care to hear me out. I will NEVER! Eat at a rocky rococo establishment again. Corporate doesn’t care about your thoughts or experiences in their stores.

I ordered pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni and bacon. You look at the picture and tell me if i got what i paid for?? Pizza was good. Hence the 3 stars. Walked in to a place where I frequent at least 2/3 a week…Had a really bad experience with what they were trying to serve me and when I questioned the product. This half-man half I don’t know what had to interject and make the situation worse….Furthermore the cook is serving anything out of the kitchen…I’ve been coming to this establishment since the 80’s and never received service like what I experienced today…. Who ever staffed today 10/14/25 need to reevaluate the staff on duty….

We often look forward to this chewy tasty pizza as a treat. Well, today our treat turned out over baked to near creamatorium status (see 1st pic). Everything is black on top. No chewy cheese or crust here. Crust is over baked and dry. Barely ’any’ sauce (dry..see 2nd pic) much less the extra sauce asked for…which wasn’t even listed on the receipt. Why didn’t we call the restaurant? Because we’re not driving all of the way back from West Allis when we would typically pick it up on the way home from work. Went from excitedly looking forward to our ‘treat’ to utter disappointment!
UPDATE: They’ve gotten new ovens and our pizzas have been great ever since!
