I don’t normally do reviews, and the service and atmosphere were not that bad. But boy… let me tell you. I have to leave a review, because that steak taco was horrible. Dry, chewy, not seasoned. 100% the worst taco I have ever had and i recommend anywhere but here. And the price for that, absolutely ridiculous. Just find somewhere else, trust me.

My wife and I were traveling back home and stopped in Decatur to grab a bite. We found a place called Las Vías Mexican Grill and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the experience left us disappointed.
When we arrived, there was no one around to greet or seat us. After waiting a while, someone eventually came and showed us to a table. We ordered drinks and started with the queso fundido with chorizo, which cost $10. The appetizer came out in a hot skillet, but all the cheese had stuck to the bottom and sides, making it nearly impossible to enjoy. Definitely not worth the price.
Our food arrived after that, and while the taste was good, the service didn’t match. No one came by to check on us—not even to offer more napkins or refill drinks—until we were completely finished with our meal.
Sadly, this isn’t a place we’d return to. Good food alone can’t make up for poor service.

would give 0 stars. the waiter was rude, I was so friendly to these people about how it was a mistake with how i ordered. he didn’t try to see what my issue was. he didn’t care. he was very nonchalant. and I wouldn’t recommend him. it looks like he does tables in the back of the restaurant by the bar. the food isn’t bad but it’s not what i wanted. and it’s pretty dry and barely gave me cheese dip. and the cheese dip we got they didn’t even fill the container up. and after i asked him about my food he never even came back to check on the table. very unsatisfied. very rude people. and i believe it was racially motivated at this point. I want to give ZERO STARS. i’d suggest you go to the one on 6th ave on decatur AL instead. this nasty looking pepper looks like a pickle.

My family and I celebrated our Mom’s 77th birthday here and it was everything that we could have imagined. Great Service, Great Food and the atmosphere were excellent, It was a beautiful occasion and I will be back soon. Thanks, Las Vias you deserve 10 ⭐️
