We had a great meal at Los Compadres. I had steak fajitas and my husband had a chimichanga. Sooo delicious! Tons of leftovers, too. I need to look closer at the luncheon specials…. $8.95? Wow! The prices were reasonable. Something we really liked was the very smooth refried beans and the less spicy salsa served with the tortilla chips. I will be back again and again.

EVERYTHING was amazing!! I have a Mexican restaurant in my town, which I love. I compare everything to that restaurant. This was the FIRST restaurant that gave my place a run for its money and is possibly my new FAVORITE Mexican restaurant!! The salsa that came with the chips was excellent. It also came with beans to dip the chips in. My son and I both dislike beans, but he tried them from here and LOVED them. I ordered the Tios Burrito, which was HUGE and will feed me for days. I and also got a sampler off the appetizers menu that had cheese nachos, a chicken quesadilla, taquitos (which were AMAZING!) and Birria egg rolls! It was a little hard to find but so worth it! It’s like a hidden little gem!

Great Mexican food in a convenient downtown location! We’ve had a great time dining here as a family with our 4-year-old. The bean dip is so good and unique, and we also tried the birria egg rolls as an appetizer, they were delicious and reminded me of mini chimichangas.
The staff is always so friendly and kind, and we’ve had a really good experience all three times we’ve eaten here so far. Highly recommend!

Me and my friend went here looking for some Mexican food and when we walked in we got a very quick question about how many we had dining and if we preferred a booth or a table, however we never got a hi nor a hello, I would tell you our servers name but she never introduced herself. We got seated at about 2:45 and didn’t get asked about food or drinks until about 3:10 there were only 3 other tables with people there so it wasn’t an unmanageable crowd. We got our water maybe 5 minutes after we ordered only to find little red flecks swimming inside, when we asked for a replacement our server just observed and said “oh that’s probably from a different drink” not a sorry, no remorse. This makes me question the cleanliness of their dishwashing. We got our new waters maybe another 3-5 minutes later. Once we got our food it was mediocre at best my enchiladas had absolutely no sauce on them it was just a tortilla with some greasy meat inside, my friend got a beef quesadilla that was a grease-ball with a tortilla. Would not recommend if you’re looking for friendly service and good food.

The food was incredibly good. Had the 16 inch Tio’s burrito best burrito I have ever had. The chips and salsa were also very good. Can’t wait until my next visit. (Possibly take on the burrito Challenge. Very friendly staff and good location. Wish I could give more than 5 stars

I had the #5 lunch special and it was amazing! Staff is great and friendly. As soon as my glass was empty I was asked if I want a refill before I set it down. Chips and salsa were the best I’ve ever had. The birria burrito is what I pictured below.

Visited this spot for the first time and we have found our new favorite! Service was amazing, very friendly staff and prompt service! The food was delicious, we got the empanadas and arroz con pollo and both were amazing. The portions big enough for left overs and the flavor was outstanding. The margaritas were very yummy and for the price well worth it! Overall, amazing flavor, amazing staff, and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be visiting again!

First time ordering take out from this place and I am so pleasantly surprised by their generous portion sizes. They do not skimp out on this whatsoever. My only criticism was that the flavors were more subtle and inconsistent than other Mexican places. The taco meat was a bit on the salty side and the birria soup was not salty at all. The flavors also seemed muted in contrast with others I’ve had. The rice tasted great. That said, the subtle flavor are balanced with the variety of delicious sauces they offered free of charge. I also received chips and salsa without even asking. This shows me their service is top notch and they are not stingy. My criticism may be based on personal palette but I wanted to leave an honest review. I would still recommend.

Our server was very fast and friendly she made the best michelada I’ve had. We had a group of 12 come in and I was surprised how fast our food came out and the flavor was amazing. The vibe was a hit as well. Would recommend to anyone wanting the best authentic Mexican food.
