We got the largest burger and fries for a family of 6.5. More than enough food. Great value. Spent $70 for this huge burger plus fries, a grilled cheese for the toddler and drinks. Dining area dated, no free tap water, and does not supply napkins at the tables. We love going here maybe once a year.

Got mustard instead of mayo I could have maybe had it fixed, but didn’t want to wait an additional 10 min or so for a new burger, one drink refill per customer, they literally dictate how much ketchup you get for your fries and how many napkins you can have, burger patties were premade probably frozen almost tasted like school food. Overall pretty disappointing for the price and nostalgia. I have no idea how my experience is so much different than all these glowing reviews overall 4+ starts, how? The fries were pretty ok.

My earliest memory of a delicious cheeseburger and fries combo was at Big Ed’s. Our family would grab a quick bite after church a lot when I was a kid. I guess my generation really loves our nostalgia! Big Ed’s is always consistent and delicious. Enjoy!

Went at my usual time I like going – 3pm or so; why is that important? Quality even when they aren’t making food to fly out the door. They definitely provided that, ate the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich Combo and Dinner, back at my place and boy was it still delicious even after transporting, not really equal to what you’d get at a Del Rancho but still pretty great. Fries were fantastic i’d say, potatoey yet still had a crunch. Everything but that was well seasoned, besides the very unusual fact they don’t season their fries but I won’t dock points for that. Steaks were cooked and seasoned to my liking but lacked a wow factor. Gentleman at the counter wasn’t terribly helpful with reccomendations so those are what I decided even tho burgers are in their name. During my visit, there was quite a couple of patient folks that knew they were getting good food for their wait. Worth another visit? For me, yes, only to explore what the burgers are like. Oh and also, I love supporting a small mom and pop/ wife and husband team like these folks.

A hidden gem in OKC. Big Ed’s is probably my new favorite hamburger joint. The food was cooked to order and fresh. The cost for the amount of food was fantastic. The taste reminds me of the food at the fair when I was a kid. Thanks Big Ed and team for such a great first experience. We will be back.
