The Anchor Sushi Bar is a beautifully upscale nautical experience with the food quality to match. This menu Cascades from one of a kind Sushi to fresh sashimi to actual hamburgers and such. As you keep going down this menu is where things get interesting. Continuing in their expansive, Asian flavored items would be The Anchor Roll, the zesty fried rice, Sweet and Sour Brussels and house specials such as Thai noodle steak salad, Chicken Wonton salad. Sweet & Sour Brussels are so very nice and pack an unexpected punch. Our server was Hannah and was so kind and welcoming and we appreciated her knowing this menu inside and out and curating a perfect afternoon meal for us both!

I stopped in here briefly with my son for a quick bite before heading home. First time I’ve ever had lobster dumplings, and they were amazing. The flavor, the texture the sauce. It was a perfect combination. The atmosphere and ambience were super chill, nice relaxing vibe. The service was simply not spectacular. The staff was friendly, but not all the way welcoming and super, super slow. We spent one and a half hours in the restaurant and only ordered two items.

Always high quality and delicious. The chef’s pressed roll (like a mini tuna tower) and A5 wagyu dumplings were fantastic. They were very busy on a Saturday night but had good service. Very dog friendly on the patio!

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Dallas. The food was amazing the sushi, fish tacos, gyozas, and dessert were all delicious. The atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

I was very stoked for this place after seeing all the good reviews and hearing about it. The drinks were mid and the food was not good at all. Had the edamame with some pepper an midway through I realize they don’t taste like anything so I ask and they said they probably forgot to put the peppers in and just bring me a little plate of peppers. But the sushi looked amazing, well plated, but it was all mushy and flavorless. I’ve had better sushi at Tom Thumb. I might consider giving this place another try given the number of good reviews, but this initial experience did not leave me wanting to come back nor recommend it.

Enjoyed my post-walk experience near the Katy Trail. The hot and spicy roll was VERY delicious. And a quick shoutout to Jeri for her great bartending service, because my martini was a wonderful cherry on top. 10/10 Would Recommend

Sushi was very yummy! I enjoyed the Golden Mango roll
The lobster dumplings were good but small.
The restaurant ambience was nice.
The service was very rushed and not great which is why it lost a few stars.

This was my first time coming here, when I tell you this is definitely worth the drive. We came all the way from South Carolina. This is by far the best sushi, seafood and drinks I’ve had in a very long time. I will definitely be back! Everything was definitely cooked to perfection, with the right amount of seasoning. Thank you Micheal for making our experience great, our serve was so sweet as well.
