Placed an order to pick up, the fish sandwich didn’t have the bun or the side hot sauce and tartar sauce also didn’t include the coleslaw that the menu said it came with. The steak salad was okay if the greens weren’t old it would’ve been great because the steak was good. The tahi shrimp is just fried shrimp with buffalo dipping sauce. So basically a fancy name for fried shrimp the fried pickles were good.

I visit the area often to see my in-laws, and The Orbit is the best around. Rick is a wonderful chef and host, and truly tries to innovate and give his customers quality product for a great price. The fried fish is perfect, the corn chowder is phenomenal, and they’ve got a good burger if you prefer turf.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the drinks are cold.

Though the decor is a little outdated and dark, it did not take away from the atmosphere of friendliness. The employees were very friendly and everyone of them were smiling. I had a special order and the server made sure it came out exactly as I ordered it. The food was good. I went for the fish but they were sold out. No problem, I hot a steak sandwich and it was real steak. Not steakums. I just wish there was another entrance to the restaurant other than walking through bar. Good place to eat and meet. Stop on by and grab a bite. You won’t be sorry.

The Orbit has fantastic fried cod on Fridays. Probably the best in the area. Unfortunately, my past four visits to the restaurant the coleslaw has been served room temperature. My last visit was on the last Friday of lent. The restaurant was overwhelmed with business. My coleslaw was served to me warm-hot, sour, & spoiled. The customer next to me complained about the same issue. I was told the coleslaw is pre-scooped setting on a sheet tray, and not refrigerated. Nevertheless, the spoiled coleslaw should have been taken off the menu. I was offered jalapeño coleslaw as a replacement, it was better but room temperature aswell. My mac & cheese was colder than the coleslaw. Nevertheless, we waited 1hour & 45 minutes for two meals. My wife’s smashed burger was also cold. It is too bad a wonderful fried fish dinner was made lackluster.

I stopped in and got a fish sandwich and a Cobb salad. The salad was very fresh and the ranch was homemade. The fish sandwich was very large and delicious as well, not greasy at all. The fries were seasoned and were tasty as well. I’m sure I’ll be back.

The food is delicious, the service is amazing and the vibe of the place is a cool little local spot that is happy to have you. I’m a big fan of the fish on Fridays and we finally have a place with a legit steak salad. The ratio of steak to salad is perfect!! The owners are very friendly and you can tell they care about being a part of the Ambridge community and filling our bellies with delicious food and drinks. We look forward to future dinners at the Orbit.

Great service and excellent food. I was expecting your average bar burger and was pleasantly surprised at what I would call elevated pub food. We enjoyed the fried pickles and smashbugers were delicious. Everything was well seasoned and flavorful. I highly recommend and will definitely be back for more!

Maybe if you actually opened up and opened on time and kept your kitchen open maybe you’d get back to how it used to be but I doubt it

Had the steak sandwich with fries and the wife had the salad with chicken. She said it was the best grilled chicken salad in Ambridge so far. And I have to say the steak sandwich was filling. After the fries I could only eat half of it. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff was prompt and courteous. Will be my new go to for dinner.
