Social Profile:

Spanish wine and charcuterie meets local food, in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Our wines are carefully selected to pair with our menu. It’s our goal to offer our guests a broad view of Spain’s excellent and vibrant wine styles. A pintxo, pronounced peen-cho, is a small, enticing bite to chomp and enjoy! It also refers to the skewer on which these little dishes are often served. We’re looking forward to welcoming you in, and delighting you with one pintxo after another!

It’s difficult to capture in words the pleasure of dining at Pintxo. The food, drink, atmosphere and service were all first class. Beginning with the warm greeting at the door by our server, Trish, we were immediately transported to as enjoyable a dining experience as our crew of 6 has ever experienced. We shared eight different dishes from the small but well curated menu. All offerings were delicious, with the bread, anchovies on brioche, mushroom flan and goat cheese/caramelized onion tosta among the standouts. The Basque cheesecake was a perfect closing to a wonderful meal. With all we ate and drank, and the high quality of the food and service, the final bill was quite reasonable. Thank you Pintxo for a truly memorable evening!

This might be my new favorite restaurant in Canandaigua! So much delicious food and an interesting selection of wine, vermouth, and sherry. Ethan was great and gave fantastic suggestions. We will definitely be back!

Simply stumbled upon this place searching for dinner one night. Had to check it out.
Glad we did. Met with kind greatings and soft jazz music. We chose to sit at the bar and had the opportunity to chat with the owner and some of the staff. Great people all around, they love hospitality, wine and food. Indeed masters of their craft.
Excellent wine selections and a wonderful tapas food menu. We ordered a little of everything. It was all delicious. The owner had mentioned abouton of their upcoming food and wine paring dinners they offer.
Had to buy tickets.
The food we sampled was more than enough convincing for us.
We will definitely be back and cannot wait for the wine and food parring dinner.

Pintxo is a gem! That rare combination of atmosphere, kind, welcoming service and delicious food and wine that makes you want to return…as soon as possible. Walking up to the unassuming building on a small side street, and noting the warm interior lighting and tasteful decor felt like discovering a secret, special place that evokes memories of travels to Europe. Everything about Pintxo is thoughtful. Julian and Trish are wonderful and we truly loved our evening…and will be back…probably one more time this weekend. It’s THAT good.

Pintxo is the type of dining experience that Canandaigua has been missing for a long time. It took us too long to visit and we weren’t really sure what to expect when we finally did. We felt welcome the minute we stepped in the door. Pinxto is a charming Spanish wine bar with some of the friendliest and warmest staff and delicious tapas. Our server picked out my wines through the meal and I ended the evening with a basque cocktail. Some of our favorite bites were the olives, the pan con tomate and the dates with whipped goat cheese.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. It’s was so incredible. Came from PA to stay at the lake house and this restaurant was recommended to me by a good friend and I am SO happy we visited. The atmosphere is great, the food is mouth watering, the wine is fantastic but what really pulled it together was the staff!!

I wish I could remember the waitresses name but she made it feel like we were going over a friends house for wine and tapas and she was so helpful when it came to wine selection. It was so intimate and friendly and I cannot express how fantastic this place is. If you’re in the area I HIGHLY recommend going here.

We got 6 different tapas and they just kept getting better and better! Still dreaming of everything and we just left!

It’s hard to express how thankful we should be to have places like this. The attention to detail and the sense of good taste are perfectly in sync. I’m from Spain myself, so I’m not easy to impress, but Julian and his team have a way of bringing warmth and proximity to everything they do that elevates the experience every single time.

The food is excellent, the wine selection is fantastic, and the environment they’ve created makes you genuinely appreciate having the chance to enjoy such a special experience. Of course, your own attitude and the company you keep make a difference, but in the right setting, like this one, everything comes together beautifully.

Beautiful space! Cool vibe. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. I LOVE that the bartender checks each glass carefully for water marks / cleanliness before pouring your wine into it. Most places don’t bother to do this. Great spot for wine and light bites! Will definitely be back.

Great date night spot. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The bread is very good. We had the goat cheese toasty and enjoyed it a lot.

The scallops were… different, interesting, glad I tried them… probably wouldn’t get them again though.

What a cozy yummy night we had at this place. We were not familiar with Spanish wines at all and we were taken on a JOURNEY from our wonderful server Alicia who recommended the perfect glass of red or white based on other kinds of wines we liked. I am not usually a tapas gal cuz I find I leave hungry, but this was not the case here. Everything we tried was so flavorful and left feeling full. Perfect for a date or a fun sharing meal with friends. Don’t skip on getting the freshly baked bread. We got the tomato dipping sauce and I am still dreaming about it.
