Outdoor seating with heaters and blankets provided. Dress warm for the Winter!
Came for the view of the Pacific Ocean from this rooftop outdoor dining. Partial views of the ocean from across the street and between buildings.
I had a Greek salad with cubes of grilled lamb for $28. The lamb was well-done. No pita bread. My husband had a cheese burger on a brioche bun. Bacon, FF or side salad is extra. My husband asked for well-done, but it was very pink in the thick center of the beef patty.
Server was friendly, accommodating and got all our food orders correctly.

Happy hour so good you don’t even need a drink (but they’re all under $10 if you do)!! Treated myself to a dozen of their fresh, sweet, raw oysters on the half shell, followed by their grilled Côte D’Azur oysters and some crispy rosemary fries. Just a short walk from the water, which you can catch some gorgeous views of on the balcony.

This review is for the happy hour only, or as Beeside Balcony calls it, “buzzy hour.” We order the happy hour Syrah and Sauvignon blanc…both great, especially for only $6.
We basically ordered all the food on the happy hour except the oysters. Everything was tasty. Next time, I would skip the tacos. The flavor was lacking and they were pretty skimpy on the fish. There are also so many amazing places to eat tacos in San Diego, these ones are not worth it. My favorite was the meatballs – tender with a nice flavor. The octopus ceviche places second. Fries were ok but they had a strong truffle flavor in the actual fries (not just the ketchup). Overall, it was a nice happy hour and I’d love to go back and try the full menu.
Oh, did I mention the view? Beautiful and great for the sunset! The restaurant certainly had a nice vibe.

Fresh $1.00 oysters. Ended up getting 48 of them during happy hours from 3pm – 6pm. The happy hour menu of drinks and food was on point. The chef menu is a three piece meal deal with app, main dish, and dessert for $55. Food was good.

Fun trendy themed place with a great view of PCH and distant ocean. Nice upstairs large balcony dining. Dog friendly patio. Service was warm and attentive. Food was good, but not amazing. I was surprised there weren’t more bee themed menu choices. We did have an actual bee come visit our table though. And they sell small jars of local honey for a reasonable price.
My daughter tried the fish tacos (yummy) and I had the veggie scramble (very good). I had the Rose Sangria (nice) my daughter had a local craft brew IPA (always good).
Overall we had a lovely relaxing lunch with wonderful service. Tables are close, so good chance you’ll chat up your nearby neighborhoods, especially if you both have dogs.

Had a lovely time at Beeside Balcony for my birthday dinner! My husband made a reservation here and I think told them it was my bday so they sat us in a great seat and even gave me a card how cute and personal ?! The food was also really great. My husband and I are both vegetarian and there were plenty of good options. Staff were all so friendly and service was great. Would definitely come back here and would recommend to friends!

Good was pricey, but good – considering the location it’s probably spot on. Good drinks and an oat latte iced coffee was tasty!! Got crab cakes and an acai bowl, yum! Charged extra for asking for more coconut and granola for the acai bowl was a bit ridiculous, but whatever. View was great minus a construction lift in our way. Service was pretty good, the gal was new so it either took longer or extra asks for the bill, but we were socializing, so it wasn’t a big deal. Parking wasn’t an issue, but it could be and easily fill up. Just a few blocks before 15th street, upstairs.

Our 1st visit here for our anniversary celebration. My husband reserved a table on line . The amazing staff at Beeside set a beautiful table for 2 with a sweet “Happy Anniversary” card staged on the table and a gorgeous view from our table through the glass rail around the deck at sunset . Stunning beach views , heaters on the deck for cooler evenings , our server was knowledgeable, professional and impeccable. The owner greeted us upon arrival and after we were seated . I enjoyed seeing everyone working together when it was busy with a dinner party. The menu was phenomenal and delicious . The small bar is beautiful in ascetic and very cozy . Full bar . I had a beer that was much like a mango michelada , I could have had a couple they were so delicious and reasonably priced I must say . We ordered an awesome chefs special meal with several courses that ended with a decadent dessert all for a reasonable per person price.
I love everything about this amazing restaurant.
Thank you !
