Customer service is great! The food is top notch smoked meat! Their brussel sprouts are the best I ever had and the barbque sauce is delicious!!!! Hands down the best restaurant for the price round here! Went there 2x in less than 5 days!!! Highly recommended! Great family environment with also a bar with nice screens to entertain if the bartender isnt!!!

First time here, service was great and food was delicious. Had the Thumpkeg burger, the Tacos, and the Onion Tanglers. Lots to choose from, restaurant was clean and seating was well laid out.

Went with my bestie and had a great time. The two meat platter was way more than I could eat! Brisket was divine! I loved all the sauces and the Mac and cheese and the fried okra. The staff was awesome and very friendly. Sheila is my favorite waitress ever and made our dining experience even more perfect. The selection of beers on tap was good too. I loved the ACE pear beer. We will definitely be back!

I had the brisket & burnt ends with Brussel sprouts and potato salad. Every item was delicious and properly prepared. They served a variety of sauces- which were hard to choose a favorite- all great! This restaurant is a gem for our community. I will certainly be back! Great job to all and thank you for the great service and meal.

Wonderful bbq spot! Cool atmosphere, many draft beer options, small town feel. My brisket was fantastic and the sides were delicious. Try the Brussels sprouts! Our waitress was personable and did a great job making sure we were taken care of. The owner was even out and about making sure everything was satisfactory. Overall 5 star experience.

Finally a serious BBQ joint in Hancock County. I had a 2 meat platter with pulled pork and brisket both of which were fantastic! The wait staff was prompt and the owner spoke to us several times to ensure we were enjoying our visit. When you combine quality food with excellent service you have a winning combination. That was our experience at The Thumpkeg and we will certainly be back.

Quick little stop to get some bbq with friends turned out not so good.
Our waitress was amazing very knowledgeable about the menu the sauces & just out right GREAT!!
Everything we ordered they were out of, no pulled pork no ribs no onion rings Only sausage was available, sweet tea was sour BUT our great waitress made fresh tea.
Our only choice was a burger
the waitress told us about a ground brisket smash burger, sounded delicious. We all 4 ordered the same thing the smash burger, fries, okra
For our troubles the waitress brought us the last little bit of burnt ends which were very good !!!! All 4 of us ended up with stomach cramps, throwing up and diarrhea.
I pray that it was just a bad
day/night for the business

Ordered some takeout and they forgot the Mac on one order. The brussel sprouts look like they were burnt to hell. Very disappointed this time around. And spend over 60 bucks!

My wife & I tried The Thumpkeg last nite for dinner. Awesome food & great customer service ! We didn’t arrive until about 8:45 & they close at 9:00. Chloe was our server and welcomed us right in. She is very knowledgeable about all they offer. Met the owners as well. It was a great experience and the BBQ is outstanding. We’ll definitely be back !!!

Ya’ll! Been to almost every bbq joint in Southern MS and have only been impressed by one,Stonewalls. Glad to add another to the list.Brisket was juicy and had good flavor all by itself. Our waitress was super nice and helpful for us first timers. Glad to have a good BBQ joint so close to home.
