Their carrot coffeecake is the best!!! I love the texture of crunchy from the pecans combines with the soft moistness of the cake and top with the delicious cream cheese. So gooooddddd!!!!

The staff is very friendly, nice and helpful. The service is fast and the place is clean and so cozy.
There are plenty of seats inside and the Christian music makes it cozier.
Little note: they charged for small business fee on every transaction which is great to help them stay in the business.

Great little eclectic coffee shop. I had the “Shakespeare” and a cranberry/oatmeal scone and took a turkey & Swiss sandwich with me for later. Service was friendly and fast, food was good, and the atmosphere was delightful. I’ll stop in again.

Gluten free treats: Drowsy Poet is THE best place for Coffee in #Pensacola Florida. Their coffees are made to perfection, The atmosphere is incredible, the owner… A Hunk , but the gluten free treats! I have had many gluten free baked goods throughout the area… NOBODY makes gluten free brownies, muffins, and scones as good as Poet. All made in house! The best I have ever had.

Not a true coffee drinker, just had a craving. I was treated with a smile. The pastries are a feast for the eyes. Gave the person at the counter very specific instructions “something sweet, oat milk, drizzle and whip cream” lol The barista hit it on the nail! Bacon, egg and cheese croissant was delicious, not soggy and real bacon!! Orange slices great surprise touch to cleanse the palate.

A quirky little coffee shop that we came upon on Brent Lane after leaving the airport this morning. I had the vanilla latte ☕️and an everything bagel . The staff was friendly and efficient. The wait time was very minimal. Judging by the number of cars in the parking lot and at the drive thru window, I’d say that it’s quite popular. Give them a try

I love the drowsy poet on navy blvd but this one doesn’t make coffee the same. I asked for a shaken expresso and paid $7 for it to be half foam. I got a remake which but it was basically milk.
