Today was our first time here after reading a lot of different posts and seeing his food on Facebook. My son and I ordered the special of the day which was a Chicago dog that had a neon green relish tomato onions mustard and these little hot peppers on top, we both enjoyed it… it definitely tasted fresh right down to the poppy seed roll. It was a good quality hot dog all beef. My husband got the chili cheese dog. He said he enjoyed it, the meat sauce was mild and not too spicy. The star of the meal was definitely the french fries which were cut fresh with the skins on my favorite. They had a sauce at the toppings bar that was a black truffle and I was dipping my French fries in it and it was really delicious and now I think I’m hooked on that I even took a picture of the sauce so I can go get some for myself. Didn’t get a chance to actually talk to Rob but I did talk and chat with his wife a little bit and she was a sweetheart. They are very accommodating and the place looks super clean. I didn’t have to wait very long for our food but it’s nice to know that it is all freshly made right as you order! Definitely want to try the garbage plate next time and maybe even get a Reuben dog! This place is worth stepping into the dead mall for I think it’s probably one of the things that is keeping it alive!

Ordered a single and a double blue cheese and bacon burger. Excellent burgers, fresh and crispy bacon, and loved the bun! However, I was confused when we received our food why a single bacon & blue cheese burger was on a smaller bun/had a smaller patty than the double of the exact same menu item. (It’s hard to tell in the photo as my spouse eats faster than I can get my camera out lol.)
Fries were delicious! Ask for the Cajun seasoning.
My only other critique would be to please have dill pickles! I didn’t ask, but only saw bread and butter on the menu.
We will be back – but I’ll make sure to order the double for a few bucks more and take half home.

Ordered the garbage plate. I’m usually not the type of person to eat that many different types of food (together), but surprisingly the food blends pretty well. The macaroni salad complimented the spice of the other food very well. For the price of 19$ (after tax) you definitely get your moneys worth. On my last note, I should not have finished it. Got me feeling like a big back . Thank you guys! Will be back

After visiting VIA Aquarium, you need to stop at this place. The food is fresh, hot and made to order. Do not snooze on this place. It’s worth the trip just for this place. I got the chopped cheese and it was huge and so tasty. French fries are fresh not frozen.

I had seen advertisement for this place in Facebook and found myself in the area on this day. I was greeted by Rob as soon as I walked up and explained that it was my first time there. I then asked what he suggested or what was popular that people order. He mentioned the garbage plate would good as it has a few items from his menu in one plate so I said ok. All in all the dogg had a great snap to it and the burger patty w/cheese was very good. The fries with meat sauce are way better than those you get from Mickey D’s or BK. The Mac salad was your average Mac salad and served as a break up from The other items on the plate. I chased it down with a bottle of water and what satisfied with the meal. I will be back to try something different.

First time there today. Got the chili, cheese dogs and Mac salad. Then got a philly dog to go just because. Food was fantastic. All items were fresh, hot and perfectly prepared. Employees were very friendly. The place itself is very clean and organized. Rotterdam Mall is not good enough for this establishment. We will definitely be back.

This place goes above and beyond to deliver smiles and good food to Customers. I got the double smash bacon burger and it is the best burger you can get in the area for a reasonable price.
Edit: I am constantly going back for the burgers, Rob makes a bacon jam that I could put on anything, too delicious. New specials every week so keep an eye out on the business page or in person at the counter!

Robb’s Topp Doggs is an absolute must-visit in the mall’s food court. It’s owned and operated by a young couple who clearly care about quality and consistency, and it shows in every bite.
The food here is next-level comfort food. They use potato bread across the menu, which makes everything incredibly filling, soft, and satisfying. Their classic steamed Sabrett hot dogs are outstanding on their own, and they’re happy to grill them upon request— both ways are fantastic. Rob’s smash burgers are top-notch and easily some of the best around. Honestly, I’d put them above 90% of chain restaurants no cap.
While there are plenty of solid options on the menu, the standouts are definitely the Sabrett dogs, smash burgers, and grilled cheese. He also makes a very legit chopped cheese, and the fresh-cut French fries are absolutely stupendous — crispy, hot, and clearly made with care.
Robb’s Topp Doggs was even voted “Best of the Best” by the local Daily Gazette in 2023, which is well deserved. This spot proves you don’t need a big chain to deliver incredible food — just passion, quality ingredients, and someone who truly knows what they’re doing.

Stopped in because of the Facebook has had me laughing. I figured if the guy is this good of a comedian then his food has to be good. Food is definitely good. Got a chilli dog his chilli is different then all other hotdogs places I like that. Got the double bacon blue burger thing was giant burger, the Mac salad is sweet in a way. Not like any i have had thats a good thing. We came at lunch time so there whwre busy but made sure to greet us and get us served quickly. Would love to eat here more but the drive from east greenbush is not ideal alot. I hope more people try this place and see a place with fresh food at fair prices is better then a place that calls you stupid or wish you got more for the price.
