Vandalia location is still the best so far in food, service, and atmosphere. It’s been quite a while since I’ve been in this one and I truly missed it. I love the chicken pecan salad ALWAYS, but I’ve never had anything bad here. I was also surprised they had entertainment starting on a Sunday evening. I loved that!

Decent bar style food at gourmet prices…Pizza is good (was better before they changed the sausage years ago), cheesesteaks are great (but you have to order the one with a lot of meat or you it’s mostly bread)… It’s at the bottom of my list because everything is overpriced and expensive. Take the wing appetizer, if you price out the wings individually, it comes to $1.70 a small wing. almost $2.00 for one small wing !

I’ve read some of the bad reviews on this place and they are petty at best. This place is busy and it’s justified. There are very few places you’ll go to where they greet you by name when you walk in and know what you’re going to order before you order it. Fantastic service. We came in on a random Wednesday and I have to say the outside of the place is deceiving. You walk in and it’s inviting, warm, and fantastic “welcome in” echoes from the staff. This is the kinda place that makes you want to come back and how busy it is shows just that.
We had the wings and they came out temperature hot and VERY tasty. I had the garlic buffalo and my buddy had the teriyaki. Fantastic. The ranch and blue cheese are good too.
Followed that up with an Italian cheesesteak pizza. Wow.. the red pepper relish makes this fantastic and pair that with the ranch… it’s so nice that there is a flavor out there that’s so unique. Fantastic food.
We passed through here while in town working and we can’t wait to come back. This is the kind of place that makes me absolutely love small town vibes. Y’all are doing something special here and you need to be proud of it.

Grew up in the area & always loved Submarine House. It’s one of the main spots I hit when visiting from FL. The teezers, pistol & pizza are some of my favs. Vibes always decent & staff extremely friendly & attentive.
Highly recommend checking them out if you’ve never been.

Not sure why I haven’t come here sooner. Delicious food and cold drinks. Had a meatball sub and it was very very good. Service was great as well. Some great weekend drinks specials as well.

Thank you to the staff for preparing a rather large takeout order (sub tray, pizzas and wings) on a very busy Saturday. Not only was the order ready when promised, but everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. We will definitely use Submarine House on N. Dixie again for our party or catering needs.

Cierra was so attentive and made sure my drink was full all night! She also told me about the specials and said the cheesy bread was to “die for” and BOY was she right! Girlie pop had me giggling all night, I’d give her 10 stars if I could! 🙂

This is one of the nicest bars in north Dayton area. They have their own parking lot, outside area and pretty big space inside. The service was good. We had cheese pizza and chicken raisin salad. Tomato sauce on the pizza was phenomenal and so was pizza dough. Salad came with a dressing on the side. The salad had pretty good ratio of all ingredients and it was fresh. There is a jukebox and many TVs that play sports. Will be back.

I love their chicken wings and sampler basket. The first time we went here, it was packed so we just ordered for to go. But food is really good here. Service was excellent. They also have booze ( tho i don’t really drink. I just saw it in their menu ) so i guess it’s a great place to hang out after a stressful day from the office. I remember whenwe first went here, they were having some game night so that’ll be fun if you’re into that. This is one of my husband’s favorite place to eat in so we’ll definitely be back from time to time.

Very pizza hut style wings..rippled skin, fatty, a little sweet and overall just a bit disappointing. 10 wings ringing in at 15.99. Good basic hot sauce and acceptable ranch but overall a lackluster lunch. Atmosphere and service push it to 4 stars.
