Evans never disappoints. Everything I’ve had here is delicious. Their soft serve ice cream is the creamiest and smoothest I’ve had anywhere in the area. The portion size of ice cream is great for the reasonable price. Staff is friendly and quick. I can see why they have been around since 1955.

During a short visit in the area, we stopped here for ice cream and milk shakes for the family, as my wife had fond childhood memories of this place. It had been closed for some time and my wife was very disappointed. Fortunately, we learned the business was recently acquired by a family member. The ice cream is great, the service was excellent, and the owner was very nice and kind.

This is an amazing place! I have gone here for years since I was a little girl and I am 37 years old now. The people who work here are amazing! They talk to you while your getting your ice cream which taste AMAZING! The people will hang out there and enjoy there ice cream and talk to one another. It is a great place. So many memories there. I used to live in the apartments behind it and we always enjoyed just walking out our door and being able to go get ice cream. The workers are amazing.

A quiet but popular ice cream shop. The hand dipped ice cream (rumor is they get it from a dairy farm in Virginia)is awesome. They have alot of other items on the menu such as milkshakes, sundaes, slushies, hamburgers, fries, fish sandwiches and more. They seem to be busy all the time so stop by and give them a try. You won’t be disappointed. Definitely worth the wait.

Nice little old fashion ice cream shop in the square of Ft.Ashby. It’s a walk up one with 2 windows to order from. They have a menu that haves hot dogs,hamburgers,french fries,ect.& of course soft serve ice cream.
They are only open in the Summertime. Memorial Day thru Labor Day,Mon. thru Sat. Closed on Sundays.They are a little pricey,portion sizes are skimpy & their is no where 2 set and eat your food(besides your vehicle). But if you or your kids have never been to a walk up & order ice cream place,it is worth stopping and checking it out!

LOVE the Arctic Swirls! My kids love the slushies with some icecream. The hotdogs are juicy, beef, dogs & they’re big! I love that the chocolate topings are real & not wax chocolate. Prices on the board are with taxes and its huge sizes. If you hear someone say they paid $6 or more for something, its because the got the biggest size & that would feed 3 people! Highly recommend this place. Heidi & her little sister, are the sweetest young ladies!

Ordered 4 small cups of vanilla flavor burst ice cream and almost 20 dollars for like 2 spoonfuls of ice cream… wish I could post a picture of it… go to Livvys ice cream and pay $4 dollars for the same amount of ice cream we got for 4 cups for $20 from Evans dairy dip NOT WORTH IT AT ALL
