Fantastic Italian restaurant with over 30 years of history. You don’t get to be in business for over 30 years by having a bad product. Food was fantastic, service was even better! On the expensive side but so worth it! If you are around El Jebel this restaurant is a must!

Delicious food! The outdoor patio has a little stream running under it which adds some nice sound. The portions are large. We split a plate which is a $4 upcharge but they included sides on both plates. We did get an appetizer which was also large and wonderful. We both had plenty to eat and enough to get two to-go boxes! Not cheap but great food and plenty of it!

Great food but the worst wait staff ever. One night in August our waiter went on tirade pushing chairs
Cursing and yelling. The owners son as acting manager still allowed him to add a surcharge type tip despit us politely leaving mid meal ans still being willing to pay. Honestly the worst Manager I’ve ever met for not firing our waiter on the spot. If you care about your special gathering don’t risk eating at Bella Mia in El Jebel. You never know how you will be treated

A absolute disappointing experience for a Thursday night dinner. As a group of four we went in at about 7 PM and waited 5 min to be seated when we could see multiple clean empty tables. It was so loud inside we had to raise our voices to speak across the table. We got two orders of Garlic Bread, one Shrimp Scampi and Calamari. The Shrimp were terribly overcooked, topped with a sauce that was so flavor less I would have sent it back if we all didnt want to leave so quickly.

As someone who has traveled all over Italy I was expecting at least semi-decent culturally correct food, utterly disappointing.

Terrible Service. (Especially the Male with a ponytail)
Mediocre Food.
Loud Setting.
Poor Speed.

Long time restuarant in the area, that has been open for over a decade, that is a nice restaurant, with friendly staff. The food however is way over priced for the quality. There desserts are great and much more worth the price then the rest of the food which is to low a quality for the price that the food is. If the food was cheaper, I’d consider eating here more often, because then I’d get a meal for a reasonable price, instead of a decent meal for a super high price that is to high for the quality. The price isn’t outrageous and super exspensive, and is easily affordable by an upper middle class family, but still the foods quality is to low for the price that the food is. Even if the price is lowered, there is lots of better places with higher quality food in the area, some with lower prices then Bella Mia’s current prices. I wouldn’t say not eat here, because the desserts are great, and so is the staff, however the rest of the food outside the desserts is to over priced for the quality that it is. I’d suggest eating here, because the food is pretty good and the desserts at Bella Mia are great, however as I’ve said before, although the food is good, the price is to high for the quality of the food except for the desserts, which the quality of, better fits with the prices that they are.

Our service was nice, we had two servers. One didn’t know the prices of the dishes off the menu when we asked about them but was trying their best. Water pitcher wasn’t being refilled quite as much as we would have liked. Dined with 3 others, complimentary bread and tapenade was a nice addition.
Their menu has a few cheaper options, but most of the dishes are at or over $20. It wasn’t a problem for us, but doesn’t seem to reflect the google search of the restaurant being on the cheaper side (New York Pizza is labeled as more expensive when it is not). The food itself was high quality, our appetizers were delicious and two of our parties’ salads were without fault. I found the chicken parmesan’s breading to be soggy upon serving and my date’s fetichini alfredo didn’t have enough sauce for her liking. The deserts we ordered were both incredible.
Service: 4 stars
Food: 4 stars
