Every dish was perfect flavor and you can taste each ingredient.
The pizza’s thin, sharp ,cruved edge; perfectly flat crust, firm with no flop, delicious flavor and a crumble,.
Quality and perfect slice on the topings, cheese was the best quality Jesus the way it melted on there.
Just perfect. Please.
Appetizers were perfect I cannot do any justice describing them.

Fried & baked panzerotti:The bread was soft, the cheese was ooey gooey & the tomato sauce was fresh and earthly. None of that canned salty sauce. Definitely must try more when we visit again. Really enjoyed our experience at this AUTHENTIC Italian place. The food was spot on. You can tell the cook in the kitchen (one of the owners) is definitely someone who cares how the flavors come together. We got so much fresh seafood. We did a hot grilled seafood mix and a seafood salad, very light and lemony over arugula. Tasted the panzerotti with cheese and capers-the dough was tender. I was impressed. I spent ten years in Chicago and got used to really good Italian food. I’m very happy to have this place nearby. They were attentive and helpful as well and cleared the table between courses. Parking is easy. There are a few tables inside and a few outside. Although we dined in, also did a takeout dish because it was so good, to share with people at home.

Good pizza. We ordered a cheese pie thinking it would be NY style but it was actually cut tavern style. Nonetheless it was delicious. We also ordered the penne ala vodka but that was more of a red sauce. Though it didn’t taste like vodka sauce it was still delicious. Will be back to try other options!

Highly recommend this Italian Gem located at East Side of St Charles! Easy access from North Ave, plenty of parking for eat in or take out. Awesome seafood dishes, pizza and panzerotti! They are attentive and very accommodating to tweaks in the menu (i.e. for my picky child).
You can also enjoy Italian traditional desserts and beverages too!
Their fried Panzerotti are THE BEST, I order mine with capers. So happy to have a place this good closer to home! Thank you Acqua e Farina!

The service was incredibly slow, we waited for 10 minutes before we got menus, our meal for 2 people took over 1.5 hours. Prices seemed high for the quality. The atmosphere is super odd, we felt out of place, definitely borders on a doctor’s office vibe.
