Food is delicious. Packed with flavor. Must try.
Lamb chop (5/5)- soft tender juicy. Flavorful.
Fried lagman (5/5) – packed with flavor. Soft noodles. A bit oily, but very good. Must try.
Medovik (4/5)- good to try. Soft. Moist. not overly sweet.
My less adventurous father ordered the Eggplant Parmesan that came with spaghetti, garlic bread and a salad. He said it was very good. It looked delicious!
We were intrigued by the desserts on the menu, and chose the Black Forest Cake (baked fresh and onsite) and Medovik (Russian Honey Cake-also baked at the restaurant). These were probably some of the best desserts that I have ever had (no exaggeration)!!!
What a delicate, yet decadent way to finish our meal!
The best part of this new dining experience was our server and host. (I believe his name is Zedd?)
From the moment we walked into the very cozy and colorful dining room, we felt welcome and at ease. He graciously answered several of our questions and was happy to explain details about the various plates, along with helping with recommendations. He also provided extra sauces to take home with our leftovers!
Besides that he even shared his own experience about making the Medovik and gave me insight as to how it’s prepared and encouraged me to try making it! I definitely won’t be able to replicate it, but I will absolutely be returning to order it again!
This was for us a hidden gem, but definitely one to be shared!
You can actually taste the Italian influence in some Uzbek dishes. For example, the tomato-based dishes tasted like they had pizza sauce/oregano, and the cheesy Uzbek-style bread was topped with parmesan cheese, which felt more Italian than Uzbek.
So while the food is enjoyable and would probably be great for someone who doesn’t know real Uzbek cuisine, it’s not 100% authentic. It feels more like a fusion restaurant rather than a traditional Uzbek experience.
Overall, good taste but not what we expected if you’re looking for true Uzbek flavors.
Fried manti highly recommended, though.
The food was incredibly delicious. The shashlyk and kebab were especially outstanding — the meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The pumpkin samsa was simply amazing, and the grilled vegetables were fresh and perfectly prepared.
The waitress was very kind and attentive, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, and everything was very clean. We even had the chance to meet the chef and personally thank him for such perfectly cooked meat. The owner is also very pleasant and welcoming.
We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to everyone! Thank you, guys
