I recently visited Carl’s Jr at the Rio Rancho Road location on 9/12/2025 at approximately 2150. I waited in the drive-through line for nearly an hour and spent around $40 on my order. Upon reaching the window, I received food that was ice cold.
When I brought this to the attention of the drive-through worker, an employee named Ismael came to the window and was extremely argumentative. He spoke over me, preventing me from explaining the issue, and was gesturing rudely with his hands. When I asked for the manager’s name and corporate’s number, Ismael refused to provide them, continued to interrupt me, and was generally disrespectful.
He stated that he couldn’t issue a refund, that the restaurant’s policy had changed so only managers could issue refunds, and that there was no manager on duty. He then told me that if I didn’t want the food, I could simply throw it away.
This was an unacceptable experience. The long wait time, the cold food, and Ismael’s rude and unhelpful behavior reflect poorly on this establishment. I hope the management addresses these issues to ensure that other customers do not have a similar experience. I would appreciate it if someone from corporate could contact me regarding this matter.

so um My father asked for Meat with no meat, trying to order a beyond burger and failed and came home with this.
Second is well. My brother purchased it. I tried the beyond burger. For some odd reason, it tasted like peanuts. I don’t know if it’s suppose to taste that way or suppose to taste like an actual burger, even tho it’s a vegan burger. Looks abit grey too me. Unsatisfied and it didn’t had the signiture grill marks either on the beyond burger.

Great Carl’s Jr. franchise here. Clean, smells great and service is unbeatable. My experience: The burger was great, the Potato skin fries are amazing, big hamburger on the side was good. Also the cashiers and clean up crew are friendly. I like my Food fresh so I ordered it by request. Hamburger came out looking like the one in the picture (almost almost). I will be back if I happen to be craving a burger and if in the area.

My complaint is about the food I had at this specific location. I’ve enjoyed Carl’s Jr. at other locations but when I came here with a friend it was not the best food. When we got the burger it was smaller than normal, the buns reminded me of generic store bought buns, no sesame seeds, the cheese was not melted, and the meat did not taste like Carl’s Jr. It sort of tasted like a burger you could make at home. Maybe they ran out of the proper ingredients this day :/

Both of my Big Cheeseburgers was lukewarm. One of the bottom buns was very hard and tough. The drive through service was nice, but the burgers were below standard. Second time that’s happened. Will not go to that location again.
