Stopped in this afternoon for lunch, seated and treated by our friendly server quickly. Ordered a small plate pork belly in a butternut squash puree. Excellent so full of flavor. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad and my son ordered the chicken sandwich with a side salad. All food was great the salad was loaded with pieces of buffalo chicken done just right. My sons chicken sandwich with pickles and aioli sauce was juicy and he said was one of the better chicken sandwich he has had. The Market Place Kitchen and Bar has a nice vibrant atmosphere, great service and great food to boot. Will return

(Last visited 11/5/2022.) During the month of November our community manager at the time set up something called #Nachovember where certain restaurants could put a specific nacho on their menu and when you checked in you had the chance to buy it for only $5.00! We had been here before for multiple Yelp Elite Events, so this review in no way reflects anything that happened at those events. This review is based upon our paid service on our own…
Atmosphere/Appearance: It was a beautiful overly warm fall day so we chose to sit outside. There is a private parking lot, but it’s shared with a few other businesses so you’ll find parking, no worries. Once in I’m immersed in a very large, open room which I loved. It felt like I was in a ski lodge or somewhere in Veil, CO. Lol. Light woods, stone walls, fireplaces and all kinds of stuff! We sat outside of course since the weather was nice and it was delightful.
Service: I can’t remember who took care of us, but we had no issues with service at all.
Food: Here’s where we start losing stars… We checked out their Chicken & Waffles. The chicken was dry, it was crunchy and tough. C’mon now. The waffle was also just a dry. There wasn’t enough butter or syrup in the world to help it out. However, our $5.00 nachos were on point indeed! It was a smaller portion of their Blackened Chicken Nachos which contain blue corn tortilla chips, Vermont white cheddar, caramelized onions, guacamole hot cherry peppers, arugula and a truffle aioli. These were excellent. Next up was the Steak Sandwich. This is described as a prime New York strip, Tillamook cheddar, caramelized mushrooms, onions and served on a garlic bread baguette. There was WAY too much bread or WAY too little steak. The steak also wasn’t very hot. Taste was fine, but it is what it is. Lastly was the “Breakfast Skillet”, which didn’t come in a skillet at all, but the nachos did. Strange. Anyway, it’s three organic eggs scrambled with spinach, sea coast mushrooms, caramelized onions, cheddar, crispy potatoes and some bacon. Aye… despite that trash I just talked, this was delicious. Everything was cooked well, seasoned and very flavorful. Filling as well.
Value: This place is right in the middle. Not too expensive, not cheap either, but a happy medium and I’ll say everything we got was worth what we paid… if the improvements I recommended would be made.
In conclusion, this place is fine. Maybe brunch isn’t their thing or maybe we came on an off day, but I’d be willing to try this place again, especially since we had such good experiences the other times that we came. Check this place out if you’re in the area. Granted, this review is 2 years old and some major changes could’ve been made since then!

Food was incredible the flavors really came through in every dish I had! You can tell the chef cared and highlighted the local meats flavor. The cocktail I had was also amazing (fig tequila) which paired really well with the Brussel sprouts. The service was wonderful the staff were kind and attentive. Beautiful interior for casual or fine dining.

I love this place! The food is always fantastic and the service is great. Jared took good care of me today. I got the crispy sushi and the NY strip. Was a little disappointed to see the filet mignon was removed from the menu, but the NY strip was just as delicious! Perfect sear on the steak too. Will definitely be back again soon.

Market Place Kitchen is a restaurant that serves farm to table meals. There are plenty of craft beer and cocktails. I love the rustic and open concept. I get a classy but casual vibe.
I started off with a espresso martini which was good 4/5. Then I had the sweet and spicy chicken bowl $23, it has sticky rice, crispy chicken, avocado, arugula, fire roasted corn salsa, radish, and cilantro lime crema. The sticky rice was not what I’m used to, it’s a bit mushy. Also the amount of food was small for the price. The flavor was great though. I’d give it 3.5/5. My husband enjoyed his steak and frites. My kids liked the Mac and cheese. Overall, it’s a good spot for some food and drinks. The service was good too!

We have been here a number of times but last night dinner made us wonder if there was new ownership and not for the better. We went out for two family birthdays and said so when we made the reservation. We also alerted the restaurant that we have celiac members and need gluten free which they advertise. There was a reunion of sorts taking up half of the smaller side room. We were seated at the closest table to the reunion and they milled about so closely to our table that my daughter could not pull out her chair. We waited about fifteen minutes and they had not sat down so we asked to be moved. The head person in charge at first told us no because other people had reservations. Well we did as well. They reluctantly moved us to a table with a very bad waiter under a very loud speaker and we really could not hear each other talk. Drinks were not made correctly and my dirty martini came with about half of it olive juice. I sent it back and it returned with no vodka and still too much olive juice. The waiter never asked how it was or how any of the food was. The truffle fries were cold. The barbecue wings ordered came out as the spicy and sweet option instead. The whole table ordered gluten free but when some of the entrees were delivered the person delivering (not our waiter or the manager which is usually how gluten free is delivered) didn’t even know if the order was gluten free. When we asked our waiter he assured us they were. Unfortunately something wasn’t and my daughter was sick before we left. The waiter not once asked about anything. Silverware was cleared after apps and not replaced. Never a birthday mentioned. We had been here multiple times before and liked it, but this was a really awful experience.

Visited this week for Valentine’s Day, it was my first time here. I honestly can’t wait to visit again. Everyone was extremely nice… from the moment you walk in the door, to our server & even up to us leaving. The food was DELICIOUS. For appetizers we had the truffle frites & the roasted cauliflower. For dinner- I had the pan seared scallops & my husband had the veggie haystack. Everything was extremely fresh with generous portioning. My husband who is a vegetarian, had lots to choose from. We finished our dinner off with the flourless lava cake, which I didn’t get a picture of but I do highly recommend!

The jack apple cocktail was fantastic.
Food was tasty!
I got the filet mignon cheese steak sandwich

And my wife got the impossible Burger, she is vegan so finding places that have vegan options is difficult,
She enjoyed it and said it was very good.
Definitely a good stop .

My mom and I had such a lovely dinner at Market Place’s Avon location! We’ve been to a few of their locations but really loved the cozy fall vibes at this one earlier last week. The food came out very quickly and was all delicious! We gravitated towards a lot of the new fall dishes on their menu like the butternut squash ravioli and the pan roasted pork chop with maple whipped sweet potatoes that I was addicted to. I also couldn’t get over how pillowy the gnocchi was! Always a fan of the short rib empanadas, and the spiced cider cake was a great dessert. Our server was great!

This place was beyond amazing. I have been here personally for food with friends before but never for an event. I used this place for my 2 month old baby’s baptism luncheon. (On st Patrick’s day) Shannon, the event manager was absolutely fabulous to work with. She even followed up with me after her first email since I have a terrible memory and forgot to reply to the first outreach. She made the whole event super easy and seamless. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that. I am a new mom with a 2 month old so complicated processes will never get done. Shannon made everything super easy and friendly. She was available by phone and email. Any questions I had she comfortable to ask and when I changed the salad she made it seem like it was nothing. I cannot say enough great things about her. (P.s this place was extremely well priced too for absolutely FABULOUS food)
The day of, we were 30 minutes early and the room was all ready for us and let us choose whether to be in the room or hang out at the bar. Jackie was our waitress and she was amazing! I am a neurotic mom who can’t remember anything and she totally helped me out. When I was walking around talking to guests she brought the drinks to me. She was beyond professional, kind, helpful and nice to all of our guests and us and our family. We got TONS of compliments on Jackie and the food. We got the bronze package and replaced the salad with a Cesar salad, the chicken plate, steak and pasta bolognese. Delicious! They were the perfect portions and super tasty. Again, we cannot say enough great things about Jackie! We had extra people show up and within moments she had spaces created for them. She and her team were great and I hope she knows how wonderful she made the day!
Pictures Inclided, sorry for the people in them, was trying to show the beautiful side room.
