Absolutely Perfection
We ordered fried chicken and oxtail with rice. For sides we had candied yams, Mac and cheese and fried cabbage. Everything was very good, hot and fresh.

Absolutely outstanding! The food was delicious from start to finish. The collard greens were bursting with flavor, and the catfish was perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and served in generous portions — all at a great price. The staff was warm, welcoming, and professional, and the atmosphere was spotless with peaceful music in the background. No matter where you’re coming from, make it a point to bring your family to Porter Soul Food Restaurant. I know I’ll be back!

I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, stuffing and collard greens. They were all delicious and I will definitely be a repeat customer. As a matter of fact I will be getting the pork ribs, green beans and potato salad tomorrow. The Porters were super friendly so nice, my new favorite restaurant.

We really loved the food and feel of comfort at Porters Soul food!! I can’t believe we waited so long to eat here! Kind and courteous people, inviting and relaxing atmosphere and a soul satisfying home cooked meal. My 10 yo daughter said she was giving it a 10 star review!!!!

Our first time eating here and wow the food was delicious and the service was awesome! I ordered the catfish platter that came with 2 generous sized catfish, and cornbread. My sides were potato salad and string beans. Everything was delicious!
My husband had the meat loaf platter and his sides were mashed potatoes w/gravy and stewed tomatoes and he loved it! The food and service were so good we ordered take out so we could have it the next day, being they are closed on Sunday.
Come see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!

Thank you for great food! Not too salty,as some restaurant food can be. Excellent catfish,candied yams melted in my mouth, stewed tomatoes, just right!!! Can’t wait to try fried pork chops… I will be passing the word! God bless you and the hands that prepare

Came in to try the Mac & cheese, and was very disappointed. It has zero flavor….tastes like noodles with some shredded cheese in it, but you can’t even taste the cheese. The most bland Mac & cheese we’ve ever tasted.
No salt or pepper or anything.
When I say zero flavor, I mean it literally tastes like nothing.
They need to try a new recipe because this one is terrible.
